You picked a great place to workamp! Definitely like all the trees and biking and walking areas. Evening host and security would be a great gig! The only minor concern I see is how messy a few of those camp roads could be during a rain storm. Looking forward to seeing how your winter weather is compared to where we are Workamping in Texas.

That RV Park may well be the best kept "nice and peaceful" vacation and "casual RVers" secret hide a way in the Pee Dee/Border Belt. We've been back home since early 2019 and I'm about 95% sure we have passed the place in our wanderin' around lookin' at stuff day trips and don't recall ever having seen/noticed the sign nor have we even heard of it! Good for the owners for tucking it just a wee bit off the overused beaten path!

Very nice park! Coming from the Pacific Northwest, tree's are kind of what we expect, so the sites with no tree's just kind of feel wrong ;)

How is the roads when it rains? Nothing is paved?

So far I have not noticed in issues in the campground. The trail to the pond does get a wet spot.

Morning. I have a question on your motorhome. We are looking at a tiffin allegro bay. One is gas one is deisel. Has your gas given you any issues in the mountains while towing? Is there enough power? Thanks

We have never had an issue with climbing mountains in our gas motorhome. Sometimes, on step long uphill grades, we halve slowed down to around 40 mph. But we love the performance.
