This seems like cheating to me, but I'm glad there's finally an "app for that" nowadays for those who haven't invested the time to truly investigate our food supply. I had to learn the old-fashioned way. I learned how to read the ingredient labels, and to know right from wrong over a decade ago, without any kind of app. This lead me to grow my own organic garden and to become a customer of Azure Standard. I still promote this old-fashioned way of knowing, but I'm truly happy that someone made it easy for everyone to understand. 👍 I would urge you to keep a sourdough starter made with organic ingredients. That's my newest project, and I love it. You can make absolutely everything from a starter, including bread, tortilla shells, noodles, pancakes, waffles, pita bread, cookies, brownies, etc. The sourdough is much healthier than store-bought yeast, and from-scratch recipes always cost less--even when you use organic ingredients. My son much prefers our homemade sourdough bread over the expensive organic breads in the store and it literally costs about a third of the store-bought, thanks to my bulk purchases at Azure. 19:20 mark: You will save much more time in the future by learning the lingo now. You won't spend near as much time shopping when you know what to look for. 👍

You are so correct as we get older our eating habits need to be adjusted. I’m now borderline diabetic and it’s crazy which foods affect my glucose. It’s trial and error and finding what works for each individual. I cannot eat anything white flour or it spikes me. Ugh it’s so hard. Hugs and best wishes to you both.

It's hard to eat perfect all the time no matter what you do. I hope the Yuka app helps you reach your goals and feel better. I've been using the Yuka app for beauty products but it doesn't necessarily stop me from buying. I'm a rebel by nature. So if someone tells me to do something, I will do the opposite.
