Another great campground review. If you are looking for full hookups both Johnson Creek and Buckhorn now have them. Both on Lake O Pines. We are back at Brushy Creek for a few weeks!

Mike and Angel , Thank you for sharing your trips with all of us. You have provided so much information in your videos of where to visit and campsites to stay in . We are also from Louisiana just up north. We enjoyed the eclipse in Texas also it was such a WOW experience . We are going to Yellowstone this Aug so thanks for that trip info. Look forward to your next trip ! and hope one day to see you at a campsite in our area or in a nearby state.

Hey Lynn, aww...🤗 thank you so much for the kind words. That's all we set out to do, be helpful by sharing the campgrounds we're going to visit anyway. Y'all have fun at Yellowstone, its HUGE!! (The most impressive thing for me was the lower falls, its massive!!) Thank you again, Lynn, for the kind words and for watching our video! Happy Trails & Happy Camping Mike and Angel

It’s been a long time since we’ve been to Lake ‘O’ The Pines. We haven’t been to this campground. It looks really nice. It was good to see fellow truck campers out there, too! Another great video! Thanks for taking us along!

Hey Doug Y'all have some nice lakes out that way. We thought it was sort of cool, we were in your state while you were in ours for that weekend. We hope the area treated you two well. Yeah, the truck camper reminded us of you, being hauled by a "RAM 2500", 😁😆😁. Thanks for watching our video Doug! Happy Trails & Happy Camping. Mike and Angel

@@RetroRVRecon If y’all ever run into us in a campground, we’ll be the people not driving a red Ram 2500. 😂 Funny thing, throughout our marriage we’ve owned five red trucks. Now we both drive white trucks.

Hey Kendra. Awesome, we appreciate it! Back when my dad and I did a lot of fishing we would pass your way headed to Golden Meadow (doing the speed limit of course, lol). Awesome for yall to be able to travel like that, that's our goal in a few years. Is it true... Community coffee is hard to find? Thanks Kendra for watching our videos! I gotta wait for a 2500 still Just keep'n on with my 1500 lol

Hey Shaun, in my opinion...Its well worth the wait!! 😄👍 Honestly, all newer trucks are pretty darn good. I preferred the looks of the RAM, my second choice was the F250. The biggest thing I wanted from a HD was the inline 6 diesel for long hauls. Let us know when you get it in!! Thanks for watching our video Shaun! Mike and Angel

This yr in my area there was cloud cover so the eclipse could not be seen - I've seen two eclipses in the past - living in a rural area even when there is cloud cover all the cattle will head to the trees they stay next to and settle as for the evening as a eclipse passes over - For live stock as an eclipse starts it's the end of the day and the milk cows head for the born and the bulls head under the trees to settle down for the night - but with a eclipse by the time the cattle settle down there back up and on the move after a few minutes when the sun brightens back up lol -

Hey Able Yup, it was something for us to hear the difference in the wildlife as the sun was totally eclipse. I wish we would have been in a more remote location but... it was still an excellent experience. Thanks Able for watching our video! Mike and Angel

Before booking a site in a campground I've never visited, I always look for videos. Thankful to have found yours. I actually had your site, E110, down as a possibility and was hoping to find if it had shade, which is still difficult to tell. We will only be there one night as we pass through, but since I have options of sites I try to choose the best. How is late afternoon and early morning sun on 110? We will be there next week. Also that hill with large stone build-up could be problematic for my elderly blind dog. Also considering E217 in the other loop. It may be better for our needs, and I appreciate you show it on your video too. It's also closer to a bath house, it seems. We will be in our bathroom-less T@B this time, the bigger sister to the little T@G teardrop you talked about. Thankful for additional feedback, if you have any.

Hey C Baker. For site E110, the sun should be behind the trees in early morning and afternoon. Its a nice site but it will be in a lot of sun. Jilly, our camping dog, did have a little difficulty with the rocks alone the site too. Also, E110 is a good walk from the bath house. You mentioned E217, I think you are right, it may be a much better choice for your needs. In a lot of shade and closer to the bath house. Angel and I set out a few years ago to get a tear drop, it was all we needed for our hiking trips. Then we sat in the 189R,lol, now we own it.😄 I hope this reply is helpful, Alley Creek is another nice COE campground. Thanks, C Baker, for watching our video and we hope y'all have a nice stay at Alley Creek!! Happy Trails & Happy Camping! Mike and Angel
