For those wondering, you can also parallel the Eu3000 and eu2200 together. I use a harbor freight parallel kit and it works wonderfully.

@RetroRVRecon happy to help. It's nice to do when you want to run things that might be a little bit more than the eu3000 can do on its own. Especially if you want to run on eco mode and still start those larger draw loads.

Hey Northlander. A "parish" is the same as a "county" or "province". Louisiana uses the term "Parish" not county. I wish my generators had wheels Firman does. It would make moving them around a lot easier. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching our video! Mike and Angel

I recently bought a Tractor Supply Sportsman 3850/3500 generator on sale for $269 plus tax w/free shipping. I’m stunned at the performance and economy! I was bivouacking in a primitive camping area on a wildlife management area. Temperature was 40-50deg day time and low mid 20’s night. The generator started easily, and quickly warmed up. First night was warmer and I ran it in econo mode. Fore 10hrd it used less than 2gal! Second night it was so cold I had to run it in regular mode and in 12hrs it used 2.5gal. I still No Name 2800/2500 unit I purchased in 2001 from Walmart for $289. It’s been great, still runs great but uses easily twice the amount of fuel. Old unit has a 3.5gal tank, new unit has a 4.0gal tank. Drain the fuel after every use, run till unit quits. Spray a little fogging agent into spark plug hole and you’re good. I also replace the oil with fresh Synthetic 10w-30 oil. Thus treated, I’m not sure you can wear them out. Even the cheap Chinese ones.

I grew up in the area (Anniston) and spent many enjoyable days hunting, fishing, hiking and camping in and around the State Park. (Talladega National Forest, and Chocoloca WMA, Lake Chinnabee). My wife and my favorite Sunday “cheap” date was to ride my motorcycle to Tallasse for a buffet lunch and then ride to Cheaha Mountain and enjoy the summer mountain breeze. Followed by a sunset ride back to Auburn University and back to the grind. We still occasionally get a box of fried chicken and fixings for an afternoon picnic. Your video has prompted us to take our RV up for a week now that we’re both retired.

Gasoline has a limited storage life. I try to keep 10 gallons for emergency use, but my buddy forgets to tell me we need to get more because he used it for his lawn tractor. Propare has a very long storage life. I can keep a 20 gallon propane full for a very long time. Frank can't borrow it for the lawn mower or other power tools. Generators running on propane don't produce as much power as propane.

I have only ever used Honda generators - the only noise issue with a Honda Generators is that they are so quiet you might not notice if someone turns it off and steals it - best chain them down and keep them close.

@@RetroRVRecon We use a few Honda generators for our business. Our EU1000i goes out for survey work (charging equipment batteries and running laptops). We shortened our extension cords to 20 feet so we can keep an eye on it, because at 30 feet, it gets lost in background noise. Even at 20 feet, you quickly forget that it is there. Hence, we chain it with a kytonite-grade chain and lock. Our friend had one of his stolen - they used the running generator to power the mini grinder to cut the chain.

I was under the impression that 2 generators paralleled won't double the wattage output. But if your powered system requires more watts , the generator that is paralleled will increase the power needed. I've never had to parallel my generators, knowledge is from watching KZbin .
