You two always brighten my day. Such BEAUTIFUL country! But what makes it even better is the personality you two have, never taking anything for granted, living and experiencing life to the fullest. I can't wait to see what adventure is next.

Gosh, I wish I had spotted your site earlier. My companion and I have been to every place in Colorado, Arizona, Utah, and New Mexico. Your posts are great, and it's good to see the places we have visited several times. If you get back to New Mexico anytime in the future, think about visiting Bandelier, Salinas Missions, Pecos and Chaco Canyon National parks and monuments. They are worth the time to see what pre-history is about. Keep up the great posts.

Another fun video, y'all! We rode the Durango to Silverton train (it was a bucket list thing) in 2014. We had been to Durango many times, watched trains come and go while eating at McDonald's (part of the reason I have hardened arteries 😢) and never rode the train. The only difference when we did it was we took the bus to Silverton then rode train back. That allowed more time to shop and grab lunch before returning to Durango. Grabbing lunch was a bit of a daunting proposition, that's for sure! Too many people and not enough tables. We sure met a lot of nice people! The Durango and Silverton (previously the Denver and Rio Grande Western) has been used in a lot of Hollywood Westerns. Night Passage was one of them. We've never done the hot springs (we never knew about them). That looked really relaxing! Hope y'all had a chance to stop in Silverton on the way out to Ouray. We're waiting for your next video! Safe travels and God bless y'all! Bob and Dottie

Hello Bob and Dottie, thank you for joining us once again! It amazes us that you have been everywhere we have gone. Actually we are going everywhere you have already been. Like we have said before our lives parallel in different times. We love when you share your memories. It warms our hearts. We are heading to Canada British Columbia Vancouver Island. We leave Thursday starting Season 8, “Over The Hill Adventures Goes Over The Boarder.” Blessings to you both, Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️

Y'all have a wonderful trip! We went to Vancouver BC in 1999 to attend a Natural Zeolite Conference. We had a wonderful time. The folks there were really friendly. I went to a pub with some of the meeting participants for some refreshments. Next to us were some locals telling American jokes. They were absolutely hilarious! We were laughing along with them, so they invited us over to join them. We enjoyed their jokes immensely! Imagine their horror when they found out we were Americans! 😂😂 They apologized profusely, but we assured them they were right on the money and that they should send them to Jay Leno. We bought them a round and, after some more humor, parted company friends. They had never met any Americans and were favorably impressed. Vancouver is a beautiful city. Hope y'all can go to Victoria. That's another beautiful place! Looking forward to the continued adventures! Bob and Dottie

We love Durango! Great video! We have never taken our bikes up there - something new for us. 😊 Last time we were on that train our girls were little. Such sweet memories! ❤ I laughed when you said you were taking the million dollar highway on the mountain side - it has cliff on both sides of the road in various spots. The road is just so nerve-wracking!!!

I just found your channel this weekend and have enjoyed your videos, but Stan, please wear your seat belt. Stan… unrelated to your always excellent content, I am trying to reconcile why a retired LEO does not wear a seat belt? I can’t be the first to notice that! Buckle up man!
@OverTheHillAdventuresАй бұрын
Nope you are not the first. Yes you are right!! Stan and Rhonda🙏🏼❤️. However, for many years in a patrol car I did not wear a seat belt. I work a gang area and believed it was better not to wear one so I could exit my patrol car quicker. Of course I was wrong.
