Love love love ur RV kitchen!! You guys did a really amazing job updating your RV! Speaking of instapot or crockpot recipe- i got one for ya’ll that’s vegetarian which is one of my go to’s from the recipe book: Vegetable Ziti 1 lb ziti pasta, uncooked 1 large zucchini grated 1 large carrot grated 1 red bell pepper diced 1 small onion finely diced 1 garlic clove, minced 1 28 ounce can diced tomato 1 15 ounce can tomato puree 1 tsp salt 1/2 cup parmesan cheese 3 cups grated mozzarella cheese, divided Combine all ingredients except the 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese. Stir to mix well. Sprinkle the remaining cup of mozzarella evenly over the pasta mixture. Cook on high for 3 hrs.

We love our insta-pot especially in the RV. We only buy dried beans and pulses now and using the insta-pot dies away with soaking overnight. We got 2 inserts so we could make a chili in one and rice in the other for example.

That’s so cool! We just bought an insert last week and love it! We are using it a lot since we are traveling full-time now. Do you have any favorite recipes? We have been reusing the same recipes over and over 🤣

@@TheLiveOutLoudFamily A lot of my recipes are for meat dinners (lamb/venison curry, cottage pie filling) and I'll use whatever I have in the cupboard. When cooking like this I use the saute setting first so I can brown my meat and veggies, then swap over to the pressure cooker setting. And i use our insta-pot for cooking beans (chick peas, black beans, lentils) that get added to or are the foundation of salads. I also make my own yogurt in it.

I didn't realize your fifth wheel was only 27 feet! It looks so much bigger and roomie! We have a Ninja Foodi (which also functions as an Insta-Pot). It does so many things, even baking! (Which came in handy since we removed our oven to put in a washer/dryer combo LOL). Also love, love those pots and pans! We actually found some collapsible pots that we use, but I might look into those because they don't take up much room! We also got rid of the coffee pot (we like saving the counter space, and not having to rely on electric). We did the French Press for awhile, but hated how much water it took to rinse all the coffee grinds out, so we switched to a Pour Over. Also LOVE: "Everything has a home. It's so important." ! Couldn't agree with you more! When living in an RV, everything definitely needs a place, and everything needs to be in it's place lol. And being, a HUGE Lord of the Rings fan, LOVE your RV and truck names!

That is so great to hear! Someone else mentioned the Ninja Foodie and I think we will probably ended up switching it out because it sounds absolutely amazing! What a great idea with the washer dryer! I would love to have one- we considered the ones that go in the tub but not sure that’s the best route for us. So interesting about the pour over! She’s still on an antibiotic from her surgery and she starts a new one in a few days to kill any tick born disease. My poor baby.

Joseph Joseph set of 4 or 5 containers with coordinated coloured snap lids, Nogent French can opener is tiny & mighty (& long lasting). We’ve loved magma set of pots but Ingenio has SS set of 3 pots that are cheaper & I found silicone lids (flat, light).

The kitchen looks anazing! The only thing I would add is a big metal electric kettle both for tea and pour over coffee and for making things like oatmeal, ramyun, etc... The instant pot takes a while to get used to. Make sure you vent away from your cabinetry and don't overfill it with liquid. Cannot wait to see what comes next! Bilbo is so airy and spacious 😍😍😍

Hey, Nicole! So great to connect with you! We knew absolutely nothing about the lifestyle before jumping in the deep end, and I’m actually glad it all worked out that way. We were really overwhelmed with all of the details and had no idea how to make it work, then one day we just thought “we have to learn sometime.” 🤣 We had only towed the fifth wheel down the road about 10 miles before packing it all up and towing it in the mountains (on narrow roads with no guardrails). Not sure I recommend that though 😂. We have learned so much and continue to learn new things everyday. KZbin has been our best friend for looking up how to do things and the community has been so supportive and given us so much advice! I’m so excited for you! Wonderfully! After over a year on the road we use almost everything daily. The only thing we haven’t got enough use out of is the cast iron skillet, and I think that’s just because of our cooking preferences. We are adding an air fryer to the mix too. We rarely ever use the RV oven so we are hoping it will take its place.

@@TheLiveOutLoudFamily having grown up with an older mother, cast iron & a pressure cooker were always in use at our house. The Instant Pot is an electric pressure cooker and I would use it for cooking our veggies as my mother did. I mainly used our frying pan when making roasts and such but my husband does our steaks in it now. 😋 We got an air fryer last year & my hubby is in love! It has nearly replaced our oven & stove top cooking when it comes to meals. All the best to you.

Very cool. I highly recommend you watch the Motorhome Matt podcasts. He is a great chap with a very broad industry knowledge and also a hire fleet. Do you have any destinations in mind?

@@LB-W thanks so much! I’ll have to check them out! Chris’s entire family is from Cheltenham, so this will be a quick trip to see his parents, grandparents siblings etc. After we get done seeing the rest of the states (we’re already on 32/50) we are considering doing the UK in Europe. We’ve already looked into some of the motorhomes, and although they are smaller than what we’re used to the designs are just so smart!
