😮 I DO NOT believe in coincidence! Saying that, I literally was just researching Voice Over & what it’s about yesterday!!! 🤯 Had not heard of someone actually doing it, so I LOVED that!!! Great job on your videos, you’re inspiring me to do the same 🙏🏼♥️ god bless

Ha! I'm definitely not a career voice actor, just dabbling on the side. I'm sure the people who have been doing it for years and make a full time living would cringe at my little setup!

Super cool you have been able to monetize the newscaster voice into a different avenue for income on the road. Keep the videos coming, love your content!

I started out RV-ing later in life in an older camper. I can see and really appreciate all the upgrades and color that y'all made for a really modern interior. Maine?? (Sorry, but...) meh. I worked a project there up there for about a year. Rocks and trees. RV-ers leave their homes in the rocks and trees, drive up I-95 cut through rocks and trees to get to a campground in the rocks and trees. Ground turkey... I have started using store-brand ground turkey in a tube. Less expensive, same taste and result. VO? Good for you!! Less-than-ideal recording conditions but it seems to be working!!
@WorkinfortheWild2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment! We loved Maine, but we really only explored this one area. I actually used ground chicken in the chili this time but usually opt for ground turkey. You're right - similar to ground beef, ground turkey is cheaper in the tube.

We stayed in an RV park in Elizabeth, CO and it was affiliated with the community park & rodeo area. We had to use their showers when we had a water leak in our 5th wheel. You had to push the lever in and then water would only flow for about 60 seconds! You had to learn how to keep the button pushed in with one hand and shower with the other. It was so frustrating! Oh my goodness! That sounds rough. There truly is such a wide range of shower accommodations across campgrounds! Some are so great, others are just not. Thanks for watching!

Way too early. Even the girls look tired at 48 seconds-ish. I got up that early for the better part of 40 years. I saw a meme awhile back went something like this…The early bird can have the worm cuz worms are gross and mornings suck😁. Love the channel!!

When you're at a campground that charges $ for showers, do you ever just use your own shower?
@WorkinfortheWild Жыл бұрын
I can count on one hand the number of times I've used our shower. We don't have a tankless water heater. We have to light it manually and it only heats about 3 gallons of water at a time so to me, it's worth it to pay a dollar for a longer hot shower.

that chili 😮😮 Recipe??
@WorkinfortheWild2 жыл бұрын
It was delicious! No specific recipe, I've been making it pretty much the same forever. Here's the rough outline: Several cloves of garlic (minced), a small yellow onion (diced), ground chicken or ground turkey, 1 can black beans, 1 can chili or pinto beans, 1 can petite diced tomatoes with juice, 1 can tomato sauce plus some water, 1 fresh jalapeno (diced), a lot of chili powder (maybe 2+ TBS?) cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, oregano, salt & pepper and a bay leaf! I think that about covers it :)
