I think people who are not familiar with the NY/NJ/PA regions are surprised that there are such beautiful natural areas here. Upstate NY (Hudson Valley, Finger Lakes, Great Lakes, Niagara Falls, etc) has stunningly beautiful places to visit and some great campgrounds. Thanks for a great video!

I’m from Pitman! I’m a fellow RVer….been to Clarksboro KOA. Best fun is a nice campground right outside of Pitman called Lake Kandle. Also, be sure to go to Ocean City for some beach and boardwalk fun…it’s your best family ocean resort. Sorry you missed Pitmans 4th of July parade….real down home fun where the people put their chairs out days ahead! Enjoy your northeast trip. Be sure to go to our fav….Vermont. Thanks for what you do for the RV community…you are great at it!!🙌

If you’re going to upstate NY, I recommend finding a maple farm. We visited one when we were near Poughkeepsie. They had fresh pancakes and the best syrup! We make our own maple sodas, but you can also buy maple sodas up there! So good! P.S. Thanks for letting Alaska participate. He has a lot of great things to say. It would funny to have him narrate an entire episode if he’s up to the challenge.

I used to live in IL before moving to TX over 20 years ago. Hannibal MO wasn't far away and they have Tom Sawyer days for the week before 4th of July. Fireworks are done from a barge in the river and the reflection of the fireworks in the river is beautiful. There is lots to do in the week leading up to the 4th too. There is a craft show in the park, you can tour the famous cave, they have a frog jumping contest and a fence painting contest as well. I used to go every year until I moved. Just an idea for next year. A lot of history in Hannibal and the surrounding area.

We focus on NPS sites first then fill in with our other want to see sites. Your videos are giving us some great ideas.

So fun!! I also get welts when I get mosquito bites. I found Oil of Oreganol works AMAZINGLY!! Although each bite is different. It is best to put on as soon as you notice the bite. Glad you got to catch the fireworks on the 4th near Philly. We always take out of town guests to the Liberty Bell, Constitution Center, and then down South Street for a cheesesteak at Jim's. Proper way to order one "cheesesteak wit", that'll get you cheese "with" onions. You'll be asked what kind of cheese..American ,imho is the best, provolone or whiz. Hope to see ya down the road. We are seasonal at Willows on the Lake in Adam's, NY, on the shore of Lake Ontario. Hope you get to see this area too. The Thousand Island area is amazing.

Oh pleeze don't lump all of New Jersey in with the NYC metro area! That's where you'll hear that awful "Joizy" accent. I'm a 609 native (South Jersey) and have lived in 201 (North Jersey but near the Delaware Water Gap). Lived in Pitman while attending Glassboro State College (now Rowan University). Now I live on the edge of the Pine Barrens. Although farming and gardens are disappearing and more houses and warehouses are taking their place, it's called the Garden State for a reason. Glad you were able to experience some of the rural parts of "my state". Most of it looks nothing like what you saw on the Sopranos! Also glad your children were able to experience the founding history of our United States.

We may start all over again with our map with different “rules” but for now if we’ve been in that state, we count it.

I really like your channel. But when you are walking, your kids are BEHIND you. Not safe. Please think about this. Edit: You also did this in New Orleans.

😂 Everyone has different “rules” - for now we count if we’ve been in that state. But we might start over someday and use the “stayed a night” rule. Thanks for watching

@@GratefulGlamper I’m kidding and glad it made you chuckle lol. But yeah I do it that way lol. I’m not even counting states I slept in when not full-time RV’ing lol. Makes me more excited to visit every state with my RV. I just got started four weeks ago 😝
