Avoiding high winds and dangerous storms while traveling in your RV is really important. You certainly don't want to drive into trouble so having an app on your phone that can send alerts, as well as being able to check before you head out on the road. #rvliving #rvlife #RVontheroad
We use the Weather Bug app, which is free and Mike also checks NOAA and we watch the Weather Channel very morning. On this trip we actually watched the tornado warnings, drove south about 20 miles and as the storm passed to the north of us we turned around and drove back 20 to avoid a storm coming in from the south. We did stop and stay in the rest stop overnight to wait out the rest of the rain.
If you are driving through or near Decatur, TX and need an oil change on your rig check out 1st Choice Lube. We have been using them for years and they do a fantastic job. Winstar Casino is a great rest stop and the FunTown RV Park is well kept and very spacious. They have a tram that goes around the property so you can easily get over to the golf course, the casino or the spa. #casinos #casino

I am sure you keep up to date especially in your rig. I just found a new app for me called Windy - I was using it for birding and since your comment I realize it would be great for traveling too! Safe travels!

The one is use is wind compass actually shows how the wind is blowing were your vehicle is and direction its wonderful 1:37 !!!!
