+Solo Roamin' Me too - I believe I shat myself!!!!!!!! $525,000 for a vehicle that you can live in - is a bit on the high side!!!!!!! I'd rather buy a $525,000 ranch in Colorado - and that ain't gonna be worth $400,000 two days after I buy it. This truck - probably so - if that much!!!!!! I actually heard "How much" and he said $525,000 and I blacked out and hit my head - what happened next????

DAMN - too bad they don't come in yellow - I like yellow - so I'll just have to stay in my old 5th wheel - which is yellow!!!!!!! Did I mention I liked yellow? Which reminds me of the ICU unit in Colorado that was named after Olympic skier Peekaboo Street - it is actually called the "Peekaboo ICU"!!!!!!!!!

Hey Pippi. You're doing a great job on your videos but if you don't mind me offering some friendly observations I'd like to add something. Your microphone picks up extremely well and I noticed in your videos that you put it very close to the person who is speaking even though you don't actually have to. If you look at the beginning of the video in the dialogue you are engaged in you are moving the mic back and forth a lot. If you simply held it in one place about half way between you would pick up both your voice and your guest with no problem. Hope that helps. :) By the way, tell your friend that is an amazing rig. The reason I say that is not only because it is the nicest I have seen, it is well built and well designed with off road in mind. If I had the money I'd be looking them up and possibly ordering one! Only half a mil? Let me go back in my sock drawer and see if I have that tucked away. :)

+ERV77 Not to be a dick, but I can assure you that the truck ALONE is almost $100k. Look at the company's videos. They completely redesign and upgrade all mechanicals and chassis. While there is a fair amount of profit in this rig, I think it is still a pretty good value. Considering that it can take you to places very few campers can, it seems to balance itself out. Just my opinion though.

Its an expensive rig, but its designed for off road extended living. I really like these rigs, the only thing I would change is put in a composting toilet. It has a 1000 mile range and storage for several large 10 and 20 gallon fuel cans with a lot of room to spare. The outside TV is rather pointless, but the electronics is all marine grade which is a huge plus here. Enough solar and battery storage that propane is not needed at all. Option for another freezer, then on back is a whole other cooking setup for outdoor cooking and tons of more storage. You could disappear for a very long time in this rig and not think twice. Just have to watch your water, but it still has 100 gallons of water and if your near a water source you could filter and fill your tank. With the composting toilet, you would only have to worry about grey water which you could dump pretty much anywhere. This truly is the ideal rig, but like I said, it isn't cheap, but talk about a bug out vehicle, this is the ideal vehicle!!! Only thing I would add is hardening of the electronics and engine. A Faraday cage built into the shell which would be very easy to do from being built from scratch. AT the price they are selling this for, might as well have it all!!

This is not an RV but an off road vehicle that happens to look like and RV. As that is what you are paying for. As I don't know to many RV's that can handle going off road and remain in working order very long. So $500k is close to what it's worth. As the base price for an expensive off road vehicle starts at $100K' Not to mention its totally run off solar.

been following ER for a while now. ill check the 2018 model then possibly ill get 1. tbh its highquality and luxury and the ideas they put on it its really simple and perfect. no one comes close to it on this type.. dont wanna be an a$$ but you get what you pay. its luxury offroad. if your cheap or cant affort it.get an artic fox typical class rig. if you want best , good looks and drive around with a statement this is the one. its like when a B2 bomber does a slow flyover, its a wow factor.. the truck alone is almost 100k yes for sure. but lots of customized stuff. and they built it what u want. the labor work put on to these are something else. and yes the price of it almost stay the same even if its already been used.. coz so few has it and ill say again again "the quality". stop complaining coz its expensive i know how you feel . at 1st i was , wow that lots of money. but i check why its so expensive and i check the company how they make it i was impressed .. so dont compare the quality and size of those truck campers coz its on the different level. the only problem on this is the storage. if 2people its perfect. 3 or more idk. ill go offgrid for weeks with these. ill tow tons of good food and water coz it can tow 12,000 pounds lolx

It's nice but 500k is just stupid. One kitchen burner, the outside kitchen option and dry shower are extra. I wouldn't depend only on solar, they want to stay green but you may have to start the vehicle and burn diesel? Propane burns pretty clean so..

Alot of people complain about the price.With all that this truck has plus the fact that the factory customizes them according to what the buyer wants a half a mill can either accomidate a wealthy client or a couple semi retired who have sold their home and plan to live on the road.I would think this truck would have a life expectancy of about 20 years depending on how its cared for.I also heard there is a 1 year backlog on orders so this rv is gaining some popularity.I want one sooo bad that I can taste it but its a dream for now.

Thanks for sharing, Pipi. This was very interesting. It's a great rig for those who can afford it. I found the camera work a bit off-putting. It was hard to take it all in, and I found myself wishing your camera man would back up or zoom out so we could get a sense of the whole rig. Also, in the interior shots, a wider angle would have helped to see it better. You were professional and charming throughout, as usual, even when you had to interrupt his fast, non-stop talking! Did the sales man say $529000 ?
@jeffschwartz7923
@jeffschwartz7923 9 жыл бұрын
+David Pedder $525,000 - $529,000 - really - if you're even thinking about it - what difference does it really make???? And that is the 2013 model - the 2016's are out and they go for $700,000 to $900,000 EACH - and they don't come in yellow!!!!!!! Not really sure what he said about the price - I blacked out!!!!!!!!!
