Thanks for a great video. Brought back many great memories. The rafting company was the one that I went on with my teen boys over 10 years ago when we visited Grand Teton National Park. Seeing you have so much fun with your girls reminded me of the fun I had with my boys on our visit. 2 years later we visited Glacier so I am really enjoying your video's. Safe travels. Keep em coming.

We loved our trip to this area. If you are looking for a place to stay that is convenient for both parks, we would recommend Headwaters Lodge and Campground. We had a a great spot with full hookups for our 40 ft toyhauler with plenty of room to park the truck as well. Easy to maneuver through the area, decent wifi. The campground is right off the highway between the two parks. 1hour to Old Faithful, 30 minutes to Colter Bay lodge and Marina in Teton Park

Ok Chad and Tara, I don't know where to start... GREAT VIDEO !!! Chad, your daughters are adorable, cute and sassy !! I got choked up just watching your reaction, talking about missing your kids. I have three boys that grew up with my ex-wife, and I too only got to see and visit with them once or twice a year while they were growing up. I always tried to make memorable times during the time I did have to spend with them. Emotions always pulled the heart strings when it was time to say our good-bye's. I remarried back in 1995 to a good woman, Jan, and she and I are "two peas in a pod", we get along great, and she's my best friend. She has always loved my kids as her own, and I adopted her two year old son shortly after we got married (he was my best man at our wedding). Tara, I understand what it's like to live with such a debilitating disease, it can spin on a dime and disrupt any plans with little or no advanced warning. My wife, Jan, fell off a 6' ladder in our garage back in 2007 while getting a box from off an overhead storage rack. She had a ruptured, herniated disk in her lower back from the fall, and in 2012 was diagnosed with CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) which is chronic nerve pain that can flair-up anytime without notice. Around our house, we live life "one hour at a time". Jan can be bed-ridden for days at a time, and like Chad said (regarding your feeling bad about missing out on the Snake River running activity), "it is what it is, we just deal with it". Chad, it's great to know you are her rock and are there for her, for emotional support during the bad-days !! I often retreat to my den or my man cave (garage) to cry my eyes out when my own emotions are more than I can handle. We place our faith and trust in our Father in Heaven to see us thru our trials in life. NOW, to end on a POSITIVE NOTE... I have many childhood memories of Jackson Hole and Yellowstone. Jackson Lake (Colter Bay) is where I learned to water ski. Every two years, my parents would take us kids (with another neighboring family) for a two week stay. The Grand Teton's are truly a majestic wonder to behold, but then, so is Yellowstone!!! Maybe one day, Jan and I will be able to travel (by 5th-wheel of course) to many of the beautiful places you two have been. Thanks for Sharing!!! HAPPY EASTER!!!!! :)

That first flight in to Jackson with the view of the Tetons rising up is breath taking. You never ever forget your first trip. ❤️❤️❤️ Our mistake? Hello Chad and Tara and of course Daisy. My wife and I were shopping for an RV and had our Eye on the 397th, however, ultimately decided it was a bit too big for our outdoor camping adventures. We decided to purchase the Momentum 351m. I am writing on this particular video because this is our neck of the woods. We live 20 minutes south (Blackfoot) of where you picked your girls up from in Idaho Falls. We are lucky enough to live in this beautiful part of the country. There is soooo much more in this area you would love to explore. I love watching your videos for tips and tricks and what to avoid :D. We are super jelly of the fact you RV full time. When we were there, we had a reservation to stay in Yellowstone Park. But we found a place we preferred in the town of West Yellowstone when we got there. The park was very accommodating in accepting our cancellation because they had a whole line of people waiting for cancellations so they could get in. The west entrance is just a short drive from Old Faithful and the attractions of the park, unlike the east entrance. We were really glad we did that!!

I'm sure they (RV Park) could offer up brokering a swap too if someone was "settling" for full hookups away from the middle. Even in that park, you're still not close to much. You pretty much have to drive everywhere.

Tara and Chad I think we where there about the same time you where, talk about a small world. We had just bought our first camper and went on a camping trip with it. I know it is not like your rig but it is our first and we love it until we can afford a different one. We are learning a lot from you guys and also your friends at Enjoy The Journey. We have a 33' pull along bunkhouse. We went to a family reunion in Afton WY for about a week and a half and then decided to take a week in the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National parks. Like you, we failed at planning but we still had fun of the adventure. BTW your kids look great and you looked like you guys had so much fun. We only had 6 of my 9 kids with us and the camper did well. After coming home did I schower KZbin for tips on things Like tires and vehicle capabilities to tow. I was shocked to find that c rated tires made the trip with no problems I'm looking at H rated now. We camped at the north end of The Grand Teton Park at a state run campground and got to stay there for two nights and Yellowstone state run campground for three nights. I was amazed that we got in at the first place with out a reservation and the second with a reservation on the fly. Both were heavily wooded and beautiful. Too bad we did not know ya then or could have met up. We went though Jackson Hole also and that long road with the view of the Grand Tetons. We got to see a family of Bears and a pack of wolves running across the road in front of us. We were also privy to see some moose. The one problem I had was everyone would pull over or even block the road just to see these dangerous creatures, even getting out of the safety of their car's. Very frustrating. We took pictures from the truck while moving. We had a really good time. When the kids are all gone we plan on going full time or at least semi part time RVing. Please keep the informative blogs coming. You are doing a good job.

Flagg Ranch Campgrounds and Cabins is just a couple of miles south of the south entrance to Yellowstone and has a very nice RV park. Large spaces, tall trees, water, electricity, laundry and a dump station. And a lodge with a store and restaurant just across the street. So you're in the very north part of Grand Teton, just outside Yellowstone. Great place to stay. Very convenient to both parks but not in the traffic zone of either park.

Chad, Maybe someone already said this but I have been using rv trip wizard for 4 years and it's the best. When checking out places hit reviews and blue highlighted on reviews will take you right to the campground website, hit amenities and you can see if they have WiFi. I also use the Rand McNally RVND 7720 gps, you set your rv length/height/weight/ propane tanks. It warns you of dirt roads and low bridges. The wife and I really like your channel. You said it, Jackson Hole is a wonderful location, has been since time started. Only drawback is, residential homes in there start around $1 Million and go up. Many well off folks have acreage in this area and that has upped the cost of residential property in large ways. Other than the few months of very cold climate, Jackson Hole is rated way up there. You probably need a couple of weeks to spend there unless you want to return. The fishing in Yellowstone Lake is amazing, cutthroat trout...big ones and tasty. Thanks for the Vi-deo.
