Now, I do have to say this is one of my favorite videos.

Watch out with interstate pharmacy chains. I was out of state and asked the local big name pharmacy to fill my rx. They did, but they also CANCELLED ALL REMAINING REFILLS claiming state law required them to do that. Result? I had to call my doctor's office, explain the lunacy, and have them send me a new rx. If they'd done that with multiple meds from multiple doctors, it would have really been a mess. You may be better off with an online pharmacy that will simply mail your meds to your current location.

Re the WI park mouse issue, we camped just south of Rock Island in June and trapped 8 mice in the trailer in 3 days. It took a few days after we left that area to finally catch the last one. Since then hubby has done lots of work to find and plug any possible openings. we believe they were coming in thru the slide rail openings and thus getting into the underbelly then following wiring openings up into the trailer. I hate mice!!

That is a lot of mice!

Fort Desoto in Pinellas county St Petersburg campground sustained extensive damage and is closed until further notice. Its actually a campground out on a Island so they got hit by Helene as well as Milton. My husband and are scheduled to go there in Feb of 2025 but they are not guaranteeing they will be open by then, we will keep our reservation and hope for the best.

For Martin, work camping / camp hosting may be a good solution for you and establishing a “resume” of successful completions of temporary or seasonal jobs will help if you move on to other locations or regions. Also, if you have modest computer skills and the necessary hardware (or invest in hardware if necessary), being a remote customer service rep is a great way to supplement your SS income. Best of luck!

I may travel occasionally with a dear old friend who has some life threatening health issues. We are both old widowers and at home, it’s easier to keep track of each other. His dream is to go to Alaska by land. I’m very skeptical and am leaning toward a tour like Mike and Jenn went on to the Canadian Maritimes. I just done relish the thought of dealing with his health issues in a remote location, solo. Thanks for bringing that up.

You are very close to where I spent my youth in Ft. Walton Beach. I miss that area so much. Hopefully I can convince the wife to hook up the trailer and head to Florida. I would like to show her the incredible water and beaches. Enjoy the videos, please travel safe. Fred in Texas

I've gone to your sweepstakes website for the Lumi and entered a few different ways and it also says to visit here, which I obviously am or I wouldn't have seen this, lol, but it doesn't say what I'm supposed to do once I visit here. Do I just leave a comment? Ask a question? Leave an email? Phone #? Or just watch on Sunday? I'm already subbed so HOPEFULLY I get the notification. KZbin has been funny about that on a lot of channels lately. Anyway, hope to see you then.😀

I do casino hopping through out the country. It is fun to find someone else in the group that I travel with. We can rely on each other for assistance and share meals together.

You guys are THE FIRST in the literally thousands of videos I've watched that ever even mentioned what to do if someone you're traveling with passes away. What is the FMC though? I guess I could google it. And PS, I'm commenting as I watch so I don't forget anything, lol. I'm getting old.

Just as a start: FMCA (Family Motor Coach Association) provides some important benefits on and off the road. FMCA is, however, just for roadside help *unrelated to an accident.* It was $80 annually a year or so ago. You’ll find info on their website. Also I’ve heard about Coach-Net Roadside assistance plans from others. For accident towing you might consider it. It ran approx $240 per year a few years ago. I understand it’s a crazy expensive out-of-pocket expense. For accident towing consider Coach-Net. Coach Net is approximately $240/year (2020). Many plans won’t cover towing and it’s really expensive! Hope this helps a little!

Thank you for encouraging us! FMCA is a non-profit organization that will help you and your rig get home if the person you're traveling with passes away. It is a great benefit.

There are people that live on less than $2000/mo by boondocking. They may occasionally stay in a hotel if they need work done on the RV but it can be done...comfortably. Ijs.

It's my first time watching you. You can never reçeive too many RV tips. I have seen you other channel but idk if I've commented there before or not.
