Nice work guys very very professional. Very clean. Still work in progress. My Damon ultra sport 95 got a rip open a few things. It’s amazing to me that they still have that bunkbed over. The cab. Seems to have a lot of issues. Couldn’t bear destroy my beautiful cabinets. It’s like a rose mahogany color. Took on the project, most of it myself anything I couldn’t do I had others help more of the mechanic or electrical items. ABS tires swapping tires over. Did a rotor brakes serpentine belt another belt starter put the alternator back in after getting it tested. Brand new battery did my own battery system.other than that repaired the bunkbed and re-lifted the sleeping area above the cab. Just use for storage no more sleeping area.

For the price they get brand new it appears to be well worth rebuilding, besides you can do it even better than what they were when sold new. Interiors were always lined with non breathable vinyl plastics easy to wash off but "killers of any coach" .

do ya recall the approximate gauge and dimensions of the metal tubes used to construct the frame of the roof? i just purchased one and the steel is completely rotted through, i'm guessing it was 1"x2" 11 gauge steel tubing? does that sound about right?

Some are 1x1.5 some are 1x1. They're aluminum with a few exceptions in class A and C's. The only time I have seen steel is along the passenger and driver wall. Almost all are low alloy aluminum Thanks for watching.

Yes, that is the same roofing. We cut the remnants in strips.
