@@saxmanj is it worth fixing or replacing? I don't want folks to think we are trying to sell them or sway them to a roof system. Some things you would want to consider are 1. Do you like the coach? Plan on being a camper person and see yourself having a coach? 2. Does everything else work? Are you having major issues with other things that would be costly to repair like an engine, transmission?! 3. What would it cost to replace the same camper ? 4. If you opted for another camper, it would need a roof, they all do. You won't be able to avoid that unless you bought a camper from one of our customers. 5. If you did get another coach are you certain you wouldn't have other problems? Currently you know what's wrong with yours, but another one may prove to have other issues ?? So these are some questions to ponder. Hopefully I helped you decide one way or another. If you decide to have a roof system installed , all our contact info is on the video...423.475.7663 Thank you for watching,

@@RVROOFINSTALL At 10:34 You start to add the termination bar, but you didn't slide the new membrane under the drip rail. I'm assuming you added caulking between the term bar and the drip rail.
@RVROOFINSTALL
@RVROOFINSTALL 12 күн бұрын
@Todd0012 the rail was for the awnings. There was no need to disrupt that rail. If we did drill out all the rivets we wouldn't be able to re-screw it on because the holes would be bigger than the screw shank. If we did use a larger screw shank the screw head would've been very large and look terrible. This are 3/16 rivets. You'd need a 1/4 shanks screw ....lag bolt...to resecure them. The screws would have had to go back in the same spot because that awning rail had exposed rivets vs another that would have a screw cap cover channel. Yes we sealed in between those rails as well as seal all the rivets and screws we installed on then other rail. Sometimes it's not worth poking a bear that dont need poking. Also, had we removed the rivets we would have boogered up that awning rail, the other fasteners if possible, would have need to be painted. All around it was not worth messing with. Thanks for watching.
