That last bolt you pointed to is the jackscrew. Once you loosen the mounting plate bolts (the slotted hole ones) the jackscrew is used to raise or lower the jack plate.

I think the torque specs for the various adjustment bolts would be super important. Knowing what to adjust is great. But without knowing how to make sure it stays there, the change could create damage to the RV or a dangerous situation.

What about putting some anti seize on those bolts to keep the rust from forming?

Could be a good idea. I should have just used the Boeshield T-9 rust and corrosion protection on it a long time ago.

I’ve never used them and heard they aren’t really recommended but honestly I don’t know why. Been living in ours over 5 years without them. We move around but also sit stationary for long periods of time.

I have the problem of trying to get my slideto go in so I can change the motor on one side . I did what was told and that thing didn't move. My son even tried because I have the motor to replace it but it won't go .

@@WhyWait It's my living room slide on a 2017 Montana it's a box where I can by pass and we can push it in but it didn't move . This is what the tech told us to do . More like I would need Hercules lol to push it in . Thanks though .
