Thanks for the pre fresher. It’s always good to see the snags you might run into. Changing to the bigger toilet tomorrow.

I took out a thirty seven year old toilet from my rv. Replaced it! Hit an impasse. My old toilet was an upper flush and the domestic is foot . The old hose doesn't make its way to the lower connector. It is too long and won't bend. In addition, there was a oring perhaps in the old water supply hose that fell in the toilet. Help! On my own here

Awesome, that helped a lot.

Why didn't you use a flexible hose like under a bathroom sink vs having to deal with all the connectors and crimps of using pex? It's just a water supply line not any more than a bathroom faucet. Just curious. Thanks for the video.

You might have to get creative with adapters. Do you have space to fit a universal joint between the socket and the ratchet extension? Other options would be a ratcheting combination wrench like this: www.homedepot.com/p/Stanley-Metric-Ratcheting-Wrench-Set-7-Piece-94-543W/203741089 You can usually buy these individually at the hardware store. Another option would be to buy a 3/8” drive-to-hex drill chuck fitting and use a 1/4” box-end wrench on the chuck side in place of a traditional ratchet. The last option is the worst, but just try to get 1/8 - 1/4 turn at a time with the open end of a traditional combination wrench.
