Love what you guys are doing with enthusiasm. I retired from trucking with over 4 million safe miles and it takes a serious toll on your health. If I was to give a nice couple any advice, I would suggest that you slow your pace and stay below the 8.75 hours each day. You will NEVER run out of hours, and you can actually settle down and enjoy your retirement a little bit. Take side trips, hit a museum, get into photography or metal detecting.. Do something besides staring through the windows. Life is too short my friends. Yes, I've even toted RV's when trucking got the best of me. Don't get burned out.

WOW - CONGRATS on your over 4 million safe miles - such an accomplishment! We completely agreed with you 💯 about slowing down. We are doing this challenge just to see how much money we could bill in this timeframe after this challenge is over we’ll go back to a slower pace and enjoying our life. Making memories is more important than making money - for sure! We appreciate you taking the time to comment and provide us valuable advice. Thanks for watching!

Guys, I simply love your content, your honesty. I'm 63 and I'm headed towards retirement. I have been planning on RV hauling when I finally retire to see the country, and have benefits that allow me to haul my camper with my wife and enjoy what we love to do. Keep on going, it's great to watch you two. I'll work part time doing this and don't need the money necessarily, but I see the benefit as we love to camp. Plus, I love to drive! God bless!

Id get a second llc for truck delivery and relocation services. I’d pay my partner to run the truck back empty while I get a reset in. The truck wouldn’t have to stop for a 34 and my clock would never be empty or low on hours. Something to consider since you don’t need a cdl to deliver a 1 ton truck.

To find out if anyone recently towed a 2024 Keystone Hideout 24LOF which is a smaller new destination trailer. Reason being is i recently purchased one which i will be heading to KY to pu soon and am curious on how it tows down the highway. Thanks in advance

Hey guy's great video and info. Question from me is what would your thoughts be on using a schwalbe truck that has the horse power and decent fuel economy for this gig....also provides a good place to sleep and knock off some of those hotel expenses ?
@TheRiverstoneLife25 күн бұрын
Great question! We have seen other people using that kind of truck but none of the guys I know actually have one. So our advice to you would be to contact the company you’re interested in and asking if they allow that truck for hauling.

Great content Y'all..I'm looking to get into this and have family in Washington. So coming from Texas, I would be doing same, take a load to Oregon, then stay in that area and grind some money then head to Washington to hang with family. I looked into Wave and looks to be a great company, and I like they lay out all the requirements on their website. I would be starting fresh buying truck and have to get it ready so getting an idea of cost put together for required items. Keep Crushing It!! If you get a ram 6.7 Cummins don’t have the dealer do your fuel filter changes, there’s two of them but they’re super easy to do. As well at 75k miles a service light comes on and that service is for crankcase filter change sounds complicated but it’s super easy to do. I bought a 2021 ram 6.7 3500 dually which I bought from Lithia and they offer lifetime oil changes that’s a lot of money saved right there with doing RV transport.

All those DOT regs do nothing but limit your income. I was driving before all the ELD's came out. The big trucking corporations (Schieder and the like) pushed these ELD's so the independent owner-operators would struggle when the big corporations dropped their rate and only pay their company drivers pennies per mile. Deregulation in the 80's killed the good paying trucking jobs. Thirty years ago you wouldn't touch a load that paid less than $2/mile. Great channel and content hope you do well with it.

Love your channel! When our Son finishes college this coming year, my wife and I are considering doing exactly what you’ve done. Seeing the country and spending time with friends and family who have scattered all over while our son starts his life and ultimately chooses where he may be putting down roots. When he does, we park the rv in his driveway-just kidding. I was wondering, when you are planning your loads, do you see a lot of loads going down to Florida? In fact, the entire east coast. Does Wave have a lot of business over here, or is it mostly west where you guys are concentrating on right now? Thanks very much. Stay Safe.

Thank you for your kindness - we appreciate you watching and commenting!
