We went with a 2021 Tab 400 BD. No regrets. By far the most appealing aesthetics - feels like a modern condo. I liked the Hummingbird layout but the lack of large windows was a turn off. The tab has three very large windows with retractable screens plus three additional porthole windows - lots of light and delicious air circulation. The Tab 400 layout is also more airy and open than the Airstream models. We’ve also found it is super functional - we haven’t discovered any missing amenities. Finally - the bath is a hybrid wet bath - you don’t shower sitting on your toilet. The sink folds up allowing lots of room. There is a curtain that surrounds the shower area so the walls, storage and toilet stay dry. We use the outdoor shower a lot too. Hope this helps!

Hey #3, the Travel Trailer Hybrid, being on sale for under $18k was a winner. The hybrid feature was definitely cool and gives you options that aren't available on other models. This is about trailers. I have a 2002 Rialta, built by Winnebago on a VW Eurovan chassis, It has a bathroom, with a shower, and well as an external shower. I have traveled all over the US in it, and it's great. 22 feet long, and able to park in a normal size parking space. 17 miles to the gallon. Has a generator for boondocking. Length up to 18 feet to accommodate ‘in driveway’ parking during off season. Just letting you know.❤️. The Barefoot’s colours and styling are sooo adorable! The Tab is the best built of all of them and has the Aldi heat system with central AC. You can buy a Tab 400 for 24500 at Pete’s RV in Indiana. The cabinets in the Tab are all hand built and they also have a single piece roof with Asdale composite exterior panels that are water resistant. The entire frame is aluminum the second best on that list is the Lance but they don’t discount much and like airstream it’s hard to find a deal.

Hey Nurse Debi, We appreciate the love and support! This is one of our earlier videos, enough people recommended that we include the weights so we started to! A dry bath is what you'd typically expect to see in a home. It has a completely separate shower, sink and toilet, and only the shower is intended to get wet. 3 'wetbath' washroom issues I noted with the 2 Airstreams: In the Base Camp model, that roll of toilet paper will get soaked! In the second one, the washroom door that opens outward into the main part of the camper wil likely drip all over the floor of the main area, when anyone exits after a shower, unless you keep a towel handy for towel-drying the DOOR itself, before exiting that 'wetbath' washroom. And, with that door opening outward, I don't imagine many people ever leave the washroom door ajar and taking up previous living space... So it's not hard to imagine that KEEPING it closed by default could contribute to faster/easier mold and mildew development in there!

I watched several rv videos with this same kind of refrigerator/freezer. Both doors open whatever direction you want, there arent any hinges to move. When in kitchen you open it to swing out to the right. If you are in bed you can swing it open to the left. Its called a Dometic RMD10. I love the new tech out there!

Seeing the prices of these 'tiny' trailers, I decided to build my own. My first attempt, using whatever I could get free [ find ] and buying the electrical items, it cost me $387.00. External bathroom, a curtain on outside with external shower/buck-oilet and I can count my $39, 613 dollars! Got tv, dvd, lighting, storage, 12v and 120 v outlets, fan, and solar charging system.

Hi cratedog64, I just saw Bob from CheapRVLiving show off the trailer he built out. It was pretty cool and he saved a bundle. It's not for everyone though. He's a hardcore cheap RVer. Hi Rebecca, Well you know the game...price the trailers high then pretend to give you a HUGE discount so you will feel special and buy TODAY! Thanks for watching! Mike
@HR-wd6cw4 жыл бұрын
@@RVBlogger I would, but as I'm Googling around around searching for used campers at least, there are a lot of videos on what to look for in campers and RVs when buying them. I'm not sure I'd pay the $100 for a video course--but then again, if it saved someone $100 it might be worth it to them (I'm not really looking for an RV myself so that's just me).

Seems like an odd way to do it. As a non RV owner, I take one look at those prices and just nope right out of their entire product line as something that's way too expensive. Amusingly enough I'm looking hard at camper vans, so maybe this just isn't my market. Good video though :)

I own a 2012 StarCraft AR-15 hy-bred. All of the advantages you talk about except for the gingerbread are there. I see the same floor design on a lot of these small towables. A couple of drawbacks I see is when the weather is cold, with the rear tent down you loose a lot of heat. Plus if you are in a campground with the tent down there can be noise issues. We love the convenience of the small unit. Easy to hook and go, easy to stow at home. Our units biggest drawback is small holding tanks. Best of all I tow with a GMC V8 suv; better than a pickup comfort wise, costs less to buy (used) and plenty of heated lockable storage. I blew a tire last year and no panic! The StarCraft stuck behind me like a hunting dog! Never stomp on your brakes if you blow a tire, keep calm
