I'm 62. When I was a young lad, we used to stay there, During the summer, we had to put towels and the vinyl boat seats, or we would get burned

We used to visit here in the 70s. Great memories. Swimming and boating. Always camped under our favorite big tree near the water.

Thank you for this video. I spent a lot of time there in the 60s, before it was much smaller and not as popular but it still looks like I remember it. Thanks for taking me down memory lane!

My fiance and I had a trip to Black Meadow Landing and stayed for a week in the tent. This was 30 years ago. It's all built up now unrecognizable to me. But it's still pretty. Thanks for the video.

When we take the boat up to Havasu City from The Springs, we stop off at Black Meadow on the way back and get an ice cream from the store.

I have never been to Black Meadow Landing nice. From Havasu you would have drive the az side to Parker then drive the Calif side back to Black Meadow. To bad you can't take an RV over the dam. Makes for a longer trip if coming from the North. Thanks for the done fly over.

Good price on the monthly at black meadow. Couldn't help but notice on the map, "havasu palms" a bit over five and a half miles north? They even have an airstrip, (noticed one at gene wash in your video too)! There seems to be some kind of settlement named "whipple point" next to it. Sure are a bunch of little communities hiding miles away from nowhere along the river. With an airstrip, not as far however.

Been there, sure is a long and winding road to get there. I remember seeing a big miniature train layout I think it was up top by the golf course. Any chance you seen it? Might not be there anymore as it was several years since we drove in there. Thanks Russ. Thumbs Up!

What about how black metal is built there's a block wall on each side of it about 10 feet from the actual rock wall so the water is when it rains going around the camp awesome Place Lisa was back in the 70s
