First we had Covid, then the Drought. Sure is nice to see water levels back close to normal. I guess a little prayer does work. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. 👍👍🏍🏍🏍🙋♂️

Hey Russ! Thanks for all you do for us. My favorite place in the world is The Colorado River. In 1970 my dad started taking us to Picacho Peak area for fishing and swimming (including a few beers outta my dad's cooler. I was 15 years old. In 1981 I started dating my eventual wife who's parents retired to Willow Valley, AZ. We would move there in 1985 and live there for 25 years raising our 4 kids. All 4 kids were born in Lake Havasu City. We've been in Idaho now for 13 years but The Colorado River is our home. Thanks again.

Russ, you always fail to mention that Parker Dam is the deepest dam in the world! Also a stop at the Bill Williams visiter center is worth your time. Kayak and canoe launching, fishing docks, a visitor center, and desert tortoises. Right across from the pumping station that you passed. Enjoy

Hi Russ! Always love it when you do videos in the areas I frequent when I come out from Illinois most winters. There used to be some cool floating bars along that road. Fox's, Woody's and Sundance, to name a few. Sundance had great views from the outside seating areas, but I heard it closed down awhile back. Fox's, while not very big, would have live music from time to time. That area is under-rated, imo. There's also Nellie's Saloon/Desert Bar on the other side of 95. Very cool place. Keep the vids comin, my man!

Thanks for showing me new places to travel and hangout. I drive a Class C, it's only 24' long but it is wide; the road after the dam looks very narrow. What do you think about driving my rig on it? Safe travels ✌☮

The hills and mtns in SW Arizona are so barren of trees and vegitation. Must bre due to summer heat and scant percipitation in the area. Wonder if Parker dam is for recreation or if water is syphoned off and piped to California.

The water level in Havasu isn’t affected by the drought. Parker Dam generates power, but the lake doesn’t store a significant amount of water. For some perspective, Lake Havasu holds less than 650,000 acre feet of water while Lake Mead at full pool is over 28,000,000
