I love watching these old shows when the kids were little. Great tours too. Caleb is still the same kid. So talkative and clever. Marc and Trish turn him out all the time.

If you get the chance or another trip to the Pacific Northwest you should look into a few day trips. One place to go is up highway 101 into the Olympic National Park area in the peninsula. There are some amazing places along the route and some really nice beach access plus i believe you can hike to the furthest northwest point of the continental us (not including Alaska. Another trip that is fun is to go to Tillicum Village on Blake Island where they have a native dinner/dance show. You have to schedule in advance and take their ferry to the dock but it is definitely a memory making adventure. Too many things to do and see in the Seattle area to keep to only one day though.

Oh. My. Stars! I think I am addicted to your videos! I've been binge-watching them all week, ever since I discovered them in doing my pre-RV research! (That dream is probably a year in the future; in the meantime, would you deign to associate with a lowly tent-camping person--should our paths cross? LOL) The Seattle tour was most interesting from this one. I have been through Seattle, way back in 1991, on the way to Canada to pick up a kid from a semester at college. But I didn't get to see the Space Needle. I want to. Why? Small family insider connection. An uncle (by marriage) of mine worked for Western Gear; they made the giant gear that allows the restaurant at the top to rotate! Fun trivia fact!

August of 2017 my poor hubby and I drove down to Cannon Beach from Astoria on the day we had to fly out from Seattle, We planned a Goonies Adventure and planned the trip accordingly. Once we got to the Hay Stack rocks it was so fogged over that we couldn't see anything even a few feet in front of us. We were in town just long enough to snap a few pics and then head back to the airport in WA. We waited 30 years to see them, but didn't get to due to the weather. To add insult to injury, as we were heading back to Seattle, we got caught up in the Solar Eclipse traffic and missed our flight back home completely, well as the plane took off, we drove past the airport lol. =( We got to stay and extra night, rent our car for another day and had to purchase one way tickets x 2 back to DFW, TX. GRAND TOTAL $1,000. BUT the extra night in the hotel was a blast. Hubby got a little tipsy and we had many laughs. WORTH IT! but yeah, no pics of the Hay Stack =/ Seattle was a blast, Oregon was meh! Still was a great 9 year Wedding Anniversary

I needed to replace it for $250. Could have gotten one from Amazon for $150, but didn't have time. Had to go to Camping World. I think I busted it by rising it too high too often. The gear is not suppose to jam at the top, but I'm not paying attention, it would clunk. Too many clunks cost me $$ Oh, I was going to go manual, but busted the handle on the first lift.
