I've been on the safe ferry from Anacortes decades ago. Then from Vancouver BC after touring around with our rental car we took the BC Ferry to Victoria on Vancouver Island. It is beautiful there. Bug free so people there don't need any screens on their windows . While in Victoria we went to Butchart Gardens. It was beautiful . Stayed the whole day and watched the illumination of the gardens after it got dark out. There is also a dancing fountain lit up with colored lights. If you go there I don't think you will be disappointed . Enjoy !

Total knee replacement - 8/16/17, discovered your channel 8/22/17 via Less Junk More Journey (eclipse episode) and immediately recognized the high quality of your videos. Subscribed and between physical therapy, binged watched each and every episode to the end. I would show my wife bits and pieces of your videos (especially Maddie in NY, and Mexico clips) and it got to the point whenever my wife would walk by me she would ask, where are we now? Your channel is top notch with presentation and content but it was the compassion and gentleness you showed Maddie In earlier videos showed me the type people you and you family are. Glad to be on board and looking forward to your next video. Welcome! Glad you're here. Yeah, we miss Maddie. We're in Tahoe and this was her favorite place next to Mexico. Cold clean fresh water for her to float in :) She was good to us for so long and deserved special attention in our old age. Glad to hear you got a total knee - those are really good. That guy at the ferry at least had humor! I always feel for guys like him as not everyone is as nice a customer as you guys are. I bet he gets a lot of crap all day long - still having humor makes him exceptional. What I really love is your kids in the back of the truck every time you do your little "front seat chat" - they're totally ignoring you sometimes with the "can we go now" faces :-) I have to say you trained em well not to do faces, gestures or other interference from the "cheap seats" -LOL Man, I would sooo bring smoothies (some 21 an over...)

Just now going through the previous years and lo and behold, Anacortes! My wife and I went through there 30 years ago and got hooked. We were living on a sailboat at the time and ending buying property on Whidbey Island, the next island South from Fidalgo, where Anacortes lies. Five acres in a forest and a new home. We sold the sailboat and are now following in your footsteps, recently buying a 27 ft Airstream. We previously owned a 24 and 19 foot Class C motorhomes and decided to tow this time. We watch your videos religiously and keep track of your kids like our own, well not quite... Keep up the adventures and stay out of Anacortes, it will suck you in every time.

$259.00??!! Ouch! I think I'd be temped to leave the RV on the mainland, and just ferry over by car! LOL When my mom and I went to Canada, I was just driving a small car, and we were staying in motels. BC was gorgeous, and we loved Victoria. The only downside? We arrived on a weekday in the middle of their commuter rush hour! A little hairy when you don't know exactly where you're going, and this was before GPS! ;-)

You guys are hilarious! Take it from two people who live on a boat, you saw the best of the cruising life. There is so much more to it that you didn't experience. We are making the switch from boat to RV because the logistics of full time boat cruising is much harder without a vehicle to get those all important groceries, parts, service, and laundry. Hope we cross paths one day, we can share the stories. Keep the videos coming.

Hooked! That's the best way to describe it. Entertaining, informative, funny, scenic, beautiful... Just some of the other words that best describe the "Keep Your Daydream" vlog, Facebook and Instagram. I stumbled on your channel with searching for some videos about RV living and after watching a couple I had to go back to the beginning and start from there. Your family is great and I enjoy watching your adventures. It's fun to see places that we've been before, or places we have hoped to visit. The bad news now is I have to wait for your weekly videos. Not sure if that can satisfy the need, but I will make it work. Thanks again for sharing your talents and family and I will wait for next week! Mark P.S. How cool that you guys went there. I actually lived in the San Juan Islands in Jan/87, as an exchange student, in Friday Harbor., and went to the Friday Harbor High School. But only for a few weeks, and then I went to Oregon. That area is really beautiful.... I skipped a few classes to watch the orcas swimming by. But since I had already graduated from high school here in Brazil, it didn't matter. I really need to get back to watching the RV videos. It was really cool to see the eclipse with Less Junk More Journey. They're a lot of fun too!! And you got influenced by Chris & G. They were the first RV channel I ever watched. Chris is really nice, and we spoke a few times. Now, I gotta solve the last few things here, and begin my own journey!! Starting in Europe..... Let me know if you want the itinerary with the tips.

I'm listening while I was doing dishes when I heard freshly cut ginger, i immediately got excited about what Trish was going to cook with it. I rewound the video expecting Trisha to be holding a big fat juicy root of ginger, still covered in dirt lol. I love Trishas recipes my husband asked the other day why suddenly there are fresh limes everywhere and in every recipe. I've always loved lime and use it in place of lemon anywhere I can but adding the zest to things makes a HUGE, DELICIOUS difference!!! Thanks KYD!!! I can't travel yet but I can eat like you!!!💚💚💚 Unfortunately it's November in Southern Ontario so not a lot of sunshine but next year I'm gonna rock all the hats I've bought over the years, again thanks to Trish💜💜💜

Thank you for my kYD❤ I'm watching very old videos (this one to find your taco recipe. Your recipes are so flavorful, fresh and healthy. I usually have everything on hand so I think we have similar tastes, preferences and goals in terms of eating. It has to taste better than a restaurant (whick I find since COVID-19 that bar has been significantly lowered) be healthy, give us energy and keep us full without a lot of sugar or filler. I don't buy anything that comes in a box. If it's in a box the main focus is marketing and what ends up in the box is a mystery. It doesn't need to be cheap but it has to be good value and leftovers are a bonus. I'm on my way to the market for more chicken, 1 growing boy and girl ate an entire family size package of chicken last night when I got stuck at work and just cooking ckicken instead of eating the green salad and cooked quinoa, rice and lentils in citrus vinaigrette that was left for them. Adding the vinaigrette was the only step they had to do themselves beyond taking the lids of the individually packed salads. Anyways I'm home tonight so the will get their veggies tonight! Thanks so much for sharing what you do! Especially since covid killed my husbands business qnd we are trying to get by on my earnings alone I need to stretch meals and make them yummy to avoid grumbling tummies looking for snacks at 9pm I really enjoy you guys, you've given me a new goal to work towards and that makes the long hours at work worth it. 💜💜💜

Wow, yes....just YES. Such good advice at the beginning and thank you for sharing that tidbit. It is nice to see parts of you guys. We really appreciate it. I mean, I know it is overwhelming at times when thinking of everything HAVE to do. But, to reevaluate our goals and sacrifice what you can. I was telling my Angry Texan that the other night, cause his mother's house had a tree fall on it with this Hurricane and we have been busy doing fundraisers and volunteering (leave next week to help clean up some of Houston) and we thought well these next two months of saving for our trip will go towards other stuff and that will push us back. Blah blah. I am going to tell him NO, no. We cannot push it back. What can we give up and adjust to make it still happen on our timetable. So anyways...long babble done. Great video. Youre editing is getting sooo good. I always enjoyed them but I can really see the changes and the work you are putting into them and appreciate it. I have not commented but that is only cause watching with my husband from Roku on tv so no way to comment. Still get our dose of you guys weekly.

Oh.. also if this is inappropriate please delete this..however I would remiss if did not try to get this out here on a public forum. My fundraiser ends Monday night, well 1215am CNT on Tuesday morning. I am wanting to do Chunks for Texas! I have been volunteering and survivors and evacuees are getting food, water and clothing. But need so much hygiene stuff and bedding and diapers. So Chunks are soap through Perfectly Posh. They are HUGE (never will do regular soap again) and last three to four months. So all Chunks are going to a shelter here in SA that has a lot of them. If get over my goal of 100? Will do another one. Any commission I normally make is going to gifts for those who donate a qualifying amount AFTER I make a monetary donation to Texas Diaper Bank. So it will help two organizations for sure. So just putting it out there. Again can delete it...but this is the link. Alaskangalb.po.sh/ Thanks for sharing it if you leave it up. It is the party labeled "Chunks for Texas" and we only have 23/100 so far.

Sacrificing to make a dream come true, or to live a life you’ve not led before, is necessary, IMO. Otherwise it wouldn’t be a dream, it would be have been regular life. And anything worthy of the time, effort, and money that I’m witnessing you put forth is a very worthy dream indeed. I’ve heard you say that one shouldn’t wait on a dream, that the window will at some point close. I can attest to this. At 56, I’m a single Nana, my children grown and living very far away. Many windows have now closed, but I am just going to make a large skylight, and try something new! I love this channel. God bless you!

You're not kidding! I'm sending you an email now... we decided to make the RV cook book a video series to help speed up the process. We're better at video :) Now that we're in Tahoe, we'll be recording a few recipes. Welcome.
