I lived in Homestead before and after Hurricane Andrew 8-1992 Bad deal, lost everything I had. Forced to move to TX and that wasn't much better, too many tornadoes LOL. Seriously, I really do enjoy the vacation type story telling. Blessings.

Is Fletchers still there and Hard rock cafe? We went in October ..90° day and 80° in the night. Mallory square with the sun going down. Corvettes in a sales room.. brilliant.

Hate to be a downer...but...Key West has changed and imho gone way down from a few decades ago. Of-course I am not much for crowds and or touristas every where you see. In my last visit down to key West all I saw were cheap t-shirt selling shacks everywhere, and the crowds..OMGawd...way way too many people. And such blatant commercialism at every corner has been crammed with materialism to grab your hard earned usa dollar. Nope sadly Key West has seen the last of me, I am onward in search of other less crowded and discovered places. It does sadden me though, but not in the least bit surprised at how america has become such a materialistic neon wrapped paved paradise. However; this video and production was Top Notch..very good effort, as I just somehow came upon your video and channel so great Job Mr. Robert and Company !!!!

Actually, when you think about it, at some point we should see measurable curature but none is present. That boat came into view because you zoomed in. If it was over the horizon you couldn't have been able to zoom in on it. It's all because of perspective and angular size. Anyways, keep up the good work!!

4:00 I was never aware there was ANY source of fresh *ground* water in the Keys. That's why most every house had a cistern for holding rain water. The old houses which still have them require it to be inspected for safety by the county for it to be used, but like, as long as you know how to keep your mouth shut, how would they know? Yep, cisterns and that _mamá grasa_ pipe from the mainline are all I've heard about lo these many years.

Robert, The next time you go to the beach bring along a pair of Binoculars and telescope. Watch the ships go out to see until you can no longer see them with your eyes, then get out your Binoculars and just like magic the ship will re appear. Then when you can no longer see the ship, get out your telescope and just like magic the ship will re-appear again. I have done this myself in NJ. Water takes the shape of what ever container it is in. Water doesn't curve. That's why its called sea-Level not sea-curved. " The Earth is flat" NASA Lies. Do some research.

My family lived here in Key West from mid-1952 to mid-1957. My father was stationed at the Submarine Base. We lived in Old Perry Court. I remember President Eisenhower visited once, they named Eisenhower Drive after him just before he arrived. It was a great place to live, and yes the humidity was terrible. We used to snorkel out on the lee side of the reef, it was great fun. And the fishing was fantastic. It looks way too crowded these days.
