Rob Biernacki briefly showed this in modern leg lock formula in speciality situations section, I think. I didn't had a lot of success with it, because I didn't pay attention to lifting my hips. Maybe now I would be a little bit harder to control from the back. Thanks, Rory!

Nothing costs me as much nerves as watching bjj defenses where attackers do it very poorly or make it easier to get out of position. However, I must admit that this entire series is super valuable despite that.

I hate body triangle defense videos where the triangle isn't locked up. I actually refilmed the first video because the triangle was too loose. This was locked up tight for the examples where I asked Kevin to squeeze, so this series shouldn't bother you lol

Are you worried about your partner putting you facedown and hipping into your abdomen? I generally try to teach avoiding going in the direction of belly down at all cost.

With a body triangle that's quite difficult to do as the closed circuit shuts down their mobility, ability to base, and they don't have leverage on our legs until they release the body triangle. Of course we have to be aware of this risk, but with strong alignment I will actually turn belly down sometimes to roll through to turn the body triangle to the weak side. But only if it's a body triangle and only if I can keep my hips in the air to maintain momentum. Love you.
