Try these Call Support : [phone] Email Support : [e-mail] When you setup a new account they usually require some form of verification. You can send any billing item with your name & address. You can even use a Tax document that has your details on it. This is only done, the first time you create your account. Afterwards you can setup as many servers as you need to .

On a Mac, you can use Terminal to SSH into your server. In the video, I used Git Bash to log into the server : m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/o4Wuo4GJaNOKj7M . It's the same process via terminal. All the login credentials will be emailed to you when your account is setup.

Your IP address and all other credentials were emailed to you when the server was created. Ensure you are logged into my.contabo.com to access your dashboard. In the dashboard the IP is found under IP management.

As with all WHM, you can log in using the root password. SSL can be setup for your domain later in WHM Cpanel

Reminder: using root is not secure, setup a different user and use that to create the domains on your panel. You can create an admin user with root privileges via SSH : bizanosa.com/rhel-8-centos-8-add-new-sudo-user/

It's a bit scary at first but moving from shared hosting is a great decision. Hopefully you are using WordPress. The easiest path would be to use a free control panel. I have 3 playlists for different control panels here : bizanosa.com/wordpress-on-vps-nginx-php-fpm/ These KZbin playlists will take you from no VPS to production ready VPS with a website installed. As a beginner, I would recommend you use HestiaCP.

Contabo servers don't meet the minimum hardware requirements for fivem. You have to find a provider with GPU.

I don't know whether you're running a control panel such as Cpanel , HestiaCP ,Cyberpanel etc , so I can't give you a specific answer. However you can access your files using Winscp using any of these protocols winscp.net/eng/docs/ui_fsinfo

Sorry about this. I've noticed people complain about this. I think they have some security filters on their end. Have you tried restarting the server . You should also try using a VPN.

Yes you can . If your sites still don't attract a lot of traffic, I'd recommend hestiaCP or Virtualmin using LEMP stack You can log into your Contabo server via ssh : 9:45

You can start with the VPS S option ($6.99) . bizanosa.com/contabo . Then upgrade to any higher option. In your Contabo dashboard under services, you can always upgrade if you outgrow your VPS. Ensure you pick nvme option.

hi mate, i added a server name to my VPS ( 8:35 ). i was able to connect by typing ssh root@IPADDRESS in Terminal app on Mac but after i added server name, i'm not able to connect with same command. any solution? (it is better if i could cancel added server name)

The server name has no implication on your ssh server. On your Contabo dashboard, reset your root password. Ensure the password has no special characters. If you're still unable to log in let me know the error you are receiving on the terminal.

Great to know it's working. The server name can just be edited on the dashboard. It is not a crucial setting for your VPS, what's more important is changing the server hostname as seen here kzbin.info/www/bejne/o4apZWeFhqujZrM
