N G The term “blackback” that I used in my other comment is a term used for teenage males that are approaching “silverback, so both males are blackbacks, except one is slightly older which is why he has a little bit of silver fur starting to show on his back. The gorilla that came in later on is a legit silverback, which is why he’s bulkier, his back is fully silver and he has a cone shaped head which represents a fully grown male.

Look up "Richard gorilla roar" here on KZbin, you'll see they can sound just as terrifying as the movies when they truly roar. By the way, the gorillas fighting here aren't fully grown silverbacks yet, they're still blackbacks (teenage males). The male that walked in later is a true silverback.

I can't believe people who go on these safari's think nothing of being in open top jeeps, and in this case, standing right next to these wild animals as they fight. It just doesn't look safe. That's not your average human who pick fight for no reason and like to hurt others for fun. Those silverbacks are no threat to human unless you beat your chest. They are fighting for dominance and it never ends in death. Losing one will back away. Serious injures in such fights too are extremely rare. Mostly it's just no injuries or minor injuries. Any human can watch gorillas fight, there's no danger.
