I’m assuming the lack of safety demo is because they did one at Gatwick when the first passengers boarded. Doesn’t excuse a lack of one at Brussels but that must be the reason.
@C2K7775 жыл бұрын
I'd agree with you but absolutely does not excuse one not being given. A safety briefing is required for all pax irrelevant of when they boarded

I would have not taken the flight. For me, regardless of if all passengers pay attention or not, I want all passengers to be briefed beforehand. Just so they will not be blocking or mess up an evecuation process
@euroair75785 жыл бұрын
I am sorry, but just because the flight originated at Gatwick there is no excuse! Passengers boarded at Brussels, so a safety briefing should be given to the joining customers. If no passengers had joined at Brussels, I could understand that another safety demonstration was not needed.
@allwhothirst7775 жыл бұрын
Truth be told, the safety demo is just a formality. Most people don't listen anyway and the ones that do, never remember what was said , barely 35seconds after it was ended. Let me make an example: The ET flight that was hijacked and forcefully diverted to Australia with little fuel onboard. Many of those ppl who died panicked amid the fact that they 'listened' to the demo. But as a departure culture, let it be played. Another example: The max crashes, It didn't matter whether the demos were played or not ,,,,or if passengers listened or not, they all perished.

Flew them for the first time in Oct 2018 from Gatwick to Joburg, so this video brought back a lot of memories. At the end of the holiday we were delayed northbound when landing at Kigali and circled for 70 minutes hoping for weather to clear. It didn't so we flew to Bujumbura in Burundi, where we waited for about 45 minutes and then flew to Kigali as the weather had cleared by then. I was convinced we would have long missed our connection for Brussels/Gatwick. They held the plane so we made it! Overall I was seriously impressed with Rwandair. The food in economy was really good - way better than Emirates and Ethiopian. The A330s were immaculate. The free wifi was amazing - I was WhatsApping photos to my brother while overflying Bulawayo. This requirement is set by their nations civil aviation authority under the order of the International Civil Aviation Organization. One thing I've found is that IF your connection is with the same airline and the plane is just a little late, the will notify the airport (not always) to allow passengers to connect. I had this in Texas once where we were literally puling up to the gate when they were getting read to finish boarding the other flight (which was the same airline, but 2 gates away) and we made it in time as they had waited for us to board (unfortunately though I had lost my premium economy seat as a result but was refunded for it -- but did also have to sit in the middle seat but luckily it was only a 1.5 hour flight from TX to Florida so not bad and luckily I did have only a carry-on as a checked bag would have gotten lost probably.
