I never knew Monty Oum, but from literally the first seconds of the red trailer, from the music to the visual to even the font and rose pedals, everything was tailored to my heart's love, I fell in love immediately with the show, and knew that I will love any and every thing the comes from Monty, and I did, to the point where I felt a weird feeling like IM the one who made RWBY! it felt like my show, or that if I were to make a show it would be RWBY, but while watching Volume 3 i heard from a youtube video that Monty died and I refused to believe, and when i learned it's true, I couldn't even continue the show, I left it for months before finally returning just to see where the story goes, I was heart broken, I never knew monty but he lived through his work, and entered my life and my heart and inspired me, and from his work I can tell he loved and wanted and intended to unite fans and people around the world in love for a common subject or material, and I think videos like this and the positive feedback and interaction with it is what keeps his work proud and his message alive, and keeps us united and moving forward. Idk why I'm writing this here or now, and I doubt many if any will read it, but I had to say it somewhere

Lucky Tremendous, RWBY is really good. And it always had those special moments that stuck. I hated volume 7 with a burning passion but it still had those lovable moments that made RWBY well... RWBY. I still have faith for this show even if the company who made it is terrible. Im not ready to give up on it yet. Even if the reveal trailer for volume 8 was.. concerning. Im not giving up on it just yet. Im still here, I still love the show. I just really hope volume 8 will prove me and everyone wrong about the volume and have it turn out to be something special as well.

@Sophie Foster Ive got many reasons, first off we were in Atlas during that season. So youd think Weiss would have a ton of screentime and we'd learn alot more about her character. However shes probably the character that got the least amount of screentime. 2nd off, the whole fight scene between Qrow, Clover, and Tyrian. They couldve easily avoided Clover's death there if Qrow just simply didnt do what Tyrian wanted him to do. Hes a licensed huntsman and yet he still listened to on of his greatest enemies. 3rd off, that whole confrontation with Ironwood where Ironwood went against RWBY. Nora took the spotlight when Weiss shouldve been the one to speak up. 4th off, The new character looks are god awful, Ruby and Ren really were the only ones that were fine. Yang and Nora didnt change much. Everyone else looked fucking terrible. 5th off, the cringy ass bumblebee scenes. Do I need to explain this? 6th off, the absolute fucking hypocrisy from team RWBY. They got really pissed off at Ozpin for hiding the truth about Salem yet they did the exact same fucking thing with someone that theyve learned that they can trust pretty quickly. And the fact of the matter is they had like 30 chances to tell him the truth. Oscar was the only one sensible enough to notice how dumb of a decision that was. And their only reason was they didnt know if they can trust Ironwood, and yet Ironwood proved himself multiple times over. So then he had to have been told the truth at a terrible time causing him to go against team RWBY and lose it a bit due to their lies. 7th off, the whole Ren and Nora thing shouldve happened much sooner at this point, I thought theyve made it clear to each other all the way back in volume 4 but apparently fucking not.

@@Tonyscarface04 Sounds like a lot of things you didn't like I did. Weiss is great but she has a lot of development and she's in her element. I thought Nora was right to speak up first after all Ren and her are orphans they've been abandoned before and she knows there are families and children down there. The outfits to me looked great. Most of them cover more skin as it's cold and have more to the looks. I liked blake's outfit especially. The bumblebee stuff I don't really have an opinion on. I thought volume Seven was pretty good. Better then some other seasons. I also just watch more for fun and don't really let myself think about what I think should be different in my opinion vs things that should be different because they're bad. When a voice actor is off, animation, dialogue I usually get upset over these, character wise some of these things make sense. I'll let them tell the story and I don't really get upset if it differs from expectations.

After watching the whole thing I immediately binge watched the entire series. This AMV is what got me into RWBY in the first place. Thank you for this AMV!

The little bit with Salem and her falling to her knees and telling them to "accept the futility of the situation and this can all be over." is pretty inspired. In the narrative Salem is stuck in her own futile situation regarding her own immortality and her isolation in that scene. It gives so much weight to her line in that scene, and the supposition that Ozpin brings forward after seeing the history displayed by Jinn. The thought that Salem ultimately wants to die deep down. And getting back at Ozpin(the brothers) is just her excuse to keep her going.

I have watched this every day at least twice since it’s release, I’ve been trying to come up with words to describe it. Your timing, flow and use of scenes is nothing short of a masterpiece. The way you hit nearly all of the emotional beats of the series while keeping the video from feeling bloated it amazing. I believe this is your best video so far ( which is saying something) and by far my favorite RWBY video made. Amazing job! 👍

Oh my goood that was incredibly amazing. You did a great job, just like in first one. I'm crying, it was just so epic.. Thank you for adding Pyrrha.. People sometimes seem to forget about her. But she was a first person who truly sacrifised herself and a person who didn't let the fear control her. She was a first person in her generation who wasn't afraid of doing a right thing. She started it and her friends continue what she were doing. I hope that the RWBY world wont forget about her, a first hero of her generation in this war

Winter, James, Oscar, Qrow, Willow, Penny other than RWBY and JNR these are the individuals I am going to pay close attention to in Vol 8. While I also still holding out for Raven to break out of her delusion that she can survive the storm by actively staying out of it's path and possibly redeem herself, the characters who are suffering at the conclusion of vol 7 will likely be at the center of whither Atlas will rise to the challenge, or be undone by it's own illusion of power and control.

The day of reckoning is upon Atlas, with Salem's arrival there has never been a greater amount if fear and terror. Who will you become Ironwood? Ozpin: Who will trust? Who will you abandon James? You are no more the coward than Lionheart was and you disappoint me.

Part of me thinks Salem is trying to be the absolute evil the world unites against so that when she unites the relics remnant will pass the test (code Geass scenario) and so being the good guy (if so summer may have worked for her knowing that was the end game kinda feel she was to salem what qrow was to Ozpin i also think qrow knows it)
