This one also makes episode 4 a lot more interesting on the rewatch - once you understand that the Tree IS Ascenscion and go back to relisten to the conversation Herb has with Team RWBY, it recasts the entire sequence.

I love Jaune’s comment when Weiss asked where Yang and Blake were. Also in an interview Barbara revealed that her and Arryn knew about this episode from the very beginning. She was so happy that it was finally revealed, but also having to sit on the reveal for like ten years. The part with the Herbalist actually reminds me of the Ouroboros from A Court of Thorns and Roses book series. It makes you see who you really are on the inside; instead of who you think you are or who you try to hide from the rest of the world.

I honestly think Jaune’s gonna stay an adult but who knows at this point? This poor dummy picking weird fruits off of trees. Weiss has been comedy gold this volume. Ruby in V1: They’re [weapons] an extension of ourselves! They’re a part of us! Ruby now: *doesn’t want Crescent Rose* Well that’s painful.

Alyx’s story isn’t in Fairytales of Remnant, probably because Miles and Kerry always planned to go to Wonderland in the show, and by the time the Fairytale book was getting written they probably had a rough idea of exactly how and why they were going there. I also wouldn’t feel bad for “misgendering” an Afteran. It’s not the same as not respecting a non-binary pronoun of a real person, it’s more a case of there’s no applicable pronoun at all to someone like the Cat.

Honestly its not just your reactions that have this but every reaction channel that doesn't have the least bit respect to try and avoid spoilers cause we know when the episodes come out a head of time and cause let's be real we watch for your blind reaction and to pay attention when starting the show instead of hust talking with each othe about random stuff with out just pausing the show so you can pay attention and honestly you can't say "oh we can't notice everything we are watching" when the jaune part in the intro is so obvious that the only way to make it more obvious is so yell it at you which your semi paying attention host had to do it just makes me feel sad that this is the fandom reactions we get for this show and I'm done watch your channel and others that do this
