Atlas may be gone but its military is not, doesn't anybody remember the last few episodes of volume six? As for volume 10 this should be the opening of the first episode, except instead of a team RWBY and John showing up through one of Raven's portals they will probably be walking right through the front door and afterwards there will most likely be a time skip. Now aside from volume 10 there will probably be one more volume afterwards or instead of volumes VIS could just wrap the series up with two movies.

Fitting that Raven is the one finding team RWBY in the end. She does has the Kindred link semblance and can teleport to people she formed a connection with. She has a portal to Qrow (her brother), Taiyang (her ex-husband), Yang (her daughter), she had one to Vernal (her second-in-command at the Branwen tribe) and most likely had one to Summer (team STRQ's leader). So I can see Raven checking every day if she could open the portal to Yang.

@@nemasisdemarini8339 Could be like a tie/ribbon. Now when someone dies or gets teleported to a whole new world that ribbon is severed. But since Yang wasn't dead and able to return to remnant that ribbon that would lead Raven directly to Yang got reforged.

Hey Phoenix glade to see you are still making more videos. You made a good that Viz Media wouldn't have made the effort to obtained the right to RWBY if they didn't planed to continue the show. In the mean time while we wait out this transition period I would like to recommend a youtuber I came across Swagger's Music who has been making original RWBY songs based on the characters of the show and are pretty good. The best so far is My Way which is based on Ruby.

Something I just thought of thanks to Oscar and ozpin delaying the merger and the side story animatics of RWBY beyond what happens in the case that Oscar goes to the tree in the ever after to be fixed do both souls get the choice to reform or do both have to make a single decision

That's a very good question... I'd imagine that both souls would be able to choose at that point so long as they have not completely merged together since the power of the Tree is more than either of the Gods that created the people of Remnant

With the world of Remnant in chaos I doubt classes are still in session, perhaps she went to get Tai’s help and that’s the “secret mission” he’s currently on that was mention in one of the shorts. A mission that could certainly make for a flash back arc in show.

I actually thought that Mercury would be able to be gifted his Semblance again when the world is united as the two Gods come back as I also felt that magic would be declined and Semblance & Dust are fully accepted given how humanity in Remnant has adapted without Magic for so long with the Gods able to replenish the reserves as needed.

I suspect Mercury's gonna get his Semblance back in his turning point, where he's gonna switch sides to save Emerald from Tyrian. Bastard's been tormenting them both about their choices to join Salem's side, but he also doesn't seem the type to allow for defection, so if Tyrian sees Em he's absolutely gonna try to murder her for it. And let's be honest here, Emerald doesn't stand a chance against Tyrian without help, and Mercury's softer for her than he wants to admit. Btw also calling it that Mercury's Semblance is flight and he's gonna use it to gtfo and escape in the only way Tyrian can't chase - UP.

So many people want to see Beacon again in the show and although this isn't exactly how we thought it would be, it would give us a good look into how things have been for the last couple years since the Fall of Beacon

25:04 What do you mean Mistral is gone? I know the Haven huntsmen were taken out, but Mistral as a whole is still very much intact, as far as we know. I don’t see why that wasn’t a good place to evacuate people.

The civilian population still exists, but its Huntsman force has been almost entirely wiped out by Hazel and Tyrian pre Vol 5, so it has little to no defenses. Quite frankly, the kingdom is a sitting duck and probably is faring worse than Vacuo atm, as each minor Grimm attack dwindles what little resources they have left to fight them off, which will only make the next attack worse as people get more worried and less defensible. Other than Menagerie, the only real population center with any form of solid defense system is Argus, and that's being controlled by a madwoman.

@@SheenaMalfoy I don’t see how it could fare worse than Vacuo since it has many more resources and more suitable living conditions than a small city in the middle of a desert. It’s not really fair to say Cordovin is a madwoman. Sure, she was prideful and a little overboard in handling RWBY and co. stealing from her, but she could still be trusted as a protector.

Like the Ever After has consequences rather than just being an excuse for a time jump. And Qrow could help Jaune with his Trauma with how he's dealing with his own. And it could bring hope to the remaining people of Remnant to see The Rusted Knight, a beloved Fictional Character, is actually real and most peoples favorite fairytale is actually real.

I believe mistral is still a functioning kingdom considering that only the academy was destroyed along with their huntsman. However, mistral has always been a home of criminal empire and the spiders are still at large. They may be of some use to Mercury and anyone else on the fence about Salem.

I don't believe that Mistral is gone completely. There still forces and people there that could come, along with some aid from Menagerie to aid Vacuo. One thing I would love to see, even if it's done in a fiction novel (of which I'm keen to write myself!), is how did Raven come from being so defeatist where Salem was concerned -- and by that measure, more for what she could do to save herself (and her tribe) -- to the clear change in attitude that brought her to find RWBY and Jaune and bring them to where Qrow was? There's a story there, that I know just HAS to be told!

I'm think Yang's dressing down really did get to her... even if she was too terrified in the moment to change her ways, I think after some reflection (and probably also the scare of Yang's link disappearing when she was in the Relic void-space) she's had a change of heart - if not a change of attitude. Though I'd love to see that change happen, I'm not sure it's one that really puts itself to film well - after all, it's an entirely internal struggle.

We haven't seen Raven's interactions with anyone yet outside of this animatic so I'm guessing she had some things said to her about her behavior as a bandit/outlaw for sure. As a parent, I think it will be up to Yang and Tai how they feel about Raven and if any work was done to earn their forgiveness. I do hope that something is mentioned about it in the series though. Especially given how Yang and Raven's last interaction went in the Haven Vault

Mistral was saved, but Tyrian and Hazel had killed many of the active Huntsman/Huntresses in the Kingdom. Add on to that the Academy being without a headmaster and it is essentially defenseless. The students of Haven were all transferred to Shade academy in Vacuo after Volume 5

Nope, it was titled episode 11 since it's the unofficial eleventh episode. Although Volume 9 was supposed to have 12 episodes, since it only had 10 total, the animatic is episode 11 in release order

Since there have not been any announcements yet, my safe estimate would be sometime in 2026 but historically RWBY volumes have always began around November (excluding Volume 9) so if they want to get back on that schedule for Volume 10 it may be possible that they will announce Volume 10 for next November but that is just my own speculation

From what I am aware Salem can't win. The gods said they would destroy the planet IF they found humanity unchanged or divided (I don't remember the exact words) however with atleast the last bastion of remnet wanting Salem dead even of Salem gets the relics and summons the gods they won't do anything and if she kills everyone she still loses as she won't die.

The wording was "divided" and since humanity was given the ability to choose, realistically there will never be a situation where they will be universally agreed. Tyrian being the perfect example of someone counted among humanity/faunus that is completely supporting Salem and is against the rest of Remnant. Whether the gods wipe out the planet remains to be seen since Ruby will likely have the chance to talk them down but we will see
