I spent 13.5 for the car. Dropped a valve and this was my fix 😂😂 I’d say all in car and conversion/swap 20k

@19ozzy83 Damn! Now I'm second guessing my build plans for my 06 Monte. I bought the car for $4000 at some car dealer in a pretty seedy neighborhood (somewhere in Shreveport is all I know). It was the only thing I could afford at the time after losing my job on my birthday and then losing my 24 Silverado 1500... Anyways, I had two ways for going about building this car of mine. A> built 4T80 B> built 4L80 trans + Chrysler 9.25 rear end I reckon I'd stick with the fwd setup since I'm trying to hurry up and get the truck I want (a Kodiak/Silverado medium-duty, whether new or old, as long as it's a gasser). But at the same time, these Montes, and their Impala cousins, should've been rear wheelers from the get-go. How much you'd think it'd be for my build? I'm still keeping the 3.9L V6, but plan on hopping it up the power between 425 to 725. And the trans and axle are coming from junkyard trucks that I assume are decent donors. It's not meant to be a full-blown race car, but more like a fun daily driver like this 17 Impala.... That car IS a daily, correct? 🤣🤣

Bro that’s an easy project since Camaros are already rear wheel drive and have v8 models. Why not just sell it and buy one with a v8 in it already 🤷🏽‍♂️. Only way I’d swap a v8 in v6 or I4 Camaro is if the motor was blown.

This is something chevy should've done from the start and the impala would of been chevy best selling sedan but nooooooo
