Another excellent lineup! I don't know where you keep finding all these, but never, never stop looking! I actually remembered some of these. It was so jarring seeing Christina Applegate try to be taken seriously. It didn't work out well for her, sadly, but still!

The only bad shows are ones that don't even get a pilot episode. And I mean this well over 2 decades ago. Everything looks cheesy in retrospect because out tastes change and we go through diff phases and grow.

9:00 that camera trick, or whatever you want to call it, was use a LOT in the late '90s/early '00s. i think the movie 'crouching tiger hidden dragon' popularized it. it looks cheesy now, but at the time i think we were all impressed by it.

This is true. Don't forget 'Trinty' was the show John Spencer was biding his time with until Sorkin was looking for a "John Spencer type" when casting Leo McGarry. Additionally Allison Smith, the woman who played his daughter on The West Wing, was cast on Buddy Faro during this 1998-1999 season.

Sports Night and a bunch of other stuff got cancelled when ABC decided to put Who Want To Be A Millionaire on 5 nights a week in Primetime. And the Primetime version was an hour long. So 10 sitcom.s could have been in it's place.

"Martial Law" didn't look like much, but it was created by Carlton Cuse who later worked on "Lost", so I wonder if there was more to it. I was curious about "Costello" because the intro made it look like "Friends" set in Boston. Turns out it's more like "Cheers" set in...Boston. But South Boston, so it's more blue-collar. It lasted just over a month. "Living In Captivity" looks kind of interesting, mainly because I'm surprised/impressed they were able to get one of Talking Heads' best songs for the intro.

How many failed pilots and one season flops did Lauren Graham star in before Gilmore Girls came along? I remember the pilot of that last thing. The “Hawaii Dynasty” thing. One of the worst single episodes of Network TV I’ve ever seen.

@@alanoldham1700 another one to look out for especially mid to late 90s is 'Mary Page Keller'... when you called out Graham; Tammy Lauren stuck out for me because she actually started as a Child/Teen actor and a couple of these Videos on 80s Seasons saw her in a show a year... and they just Posted '96 and '97 in the last month or so and Sams was in both of those videos as well...

You are absolutely correct. An oversight, no doubt. It's happened a few times before. I was probably thrown off by its debut date being August instead of September or October and so it by-passed me for inclusion. But it doesn't explain why other August debut shows were included in other vids of mine. Thanks for noting it.

I won't hold you(or anyone), but I didn't watch felicity until I picked it up for my then girlfriend and I to watch back in 2009. I really enjoyed their attempt at capturing New York City, and the characters. Still, it had its odd storylines at times. Like season 4...all of season 4.
