RWTH Aachen - The International Start-up University

Since March 2020, the start-up activities of RWTH Aachen University have been internationalized as a part of the EXIST-Potentials project. Thereby, an international perspective is adapted along the entire value chain of the RWTH Innovation Entrepreneurship Center. Through the International Entrepreneurship Office, we enable foreign #startups to gain a foothold in the Aachen ecosystem and also support RWTH spin-offs in entering international markets. The establishment of an international network of more than 40 partner universities and incubators, the initiation and organization of the largest pan-European competition for university spin-offs (Stage Two), the support of about 100 startups per year, € 600 million VC funding for RWTH alumni founders in 2021 as well as a strategic partnership with the German Accelerator are just a few examples of the achievements of our internationalization team.
