People sleeping on the rx 5700xt. I undervolted the card. Pairing it with lossless frame generation and fsr on most 2024 AAA games i get 120-170 fps at 1440p ultra. Sure its not rasterization but its more than playable. Had it last Oct 2020. And that includes emulation playing botw at 120 fps 1440p

Yup, pair it with Lossless Scaling and it'll be good for a while. Maybe no FG on competitive games but will be decent on Single player games. 👍

@@Stixk-g3d If they are at actually the same price the 3 of them, then discard the 2070 option as the 3060 outdoes it everywhere, if you want a bit of raytracing, dlss and a bit more vram, go with 3060, but if you want a bit higher fps and don't care about those I mentioned, a 5700 xt is perfectly usable while it also tends to be the cheapest one

@@Stixk-g3d Congrats! I have a 12gb 3060 myself and got it for 160 dollars, probably the best one could get for it, but hadn't it been for that extraordinary offer, I would have most likely ended up getting an rx 6600(m) or a 5700 xt, overall solid choices if you don't overpay

im still using my rx 5700xt ultra thicc iii frim 4-5 years ago but i had to do some morepowertool tweaks and change the thermal paste to fix a downclocking issue that had been happening since i bought the card. but after bricking my gpu so many times i can say its not bad if the temps are good and you disable all downclocking features

You can bios flash the rx 5700 (non xt) to an xt version. And it boost your performance.

The 5700xt is just OP for eSports even on 1440p, and perfect for any ultra 1080p AAA gaming, it performs better than any 3060 or 6600,but yours is really underclocked and relaxed.. i recently replaced mine with a 6800 non xt from powercolor, but my 5700xt is the power color dual fan (figther) , the only things i did to her was rise that core clock to 2130mhz and keep voltage on 1000-1025mv, do a nice fan curve, repaste repad, never goes beyond 160w and 80c on hotspot barely any noise... such a marvelous card... now its on its way to my brothers rig .. he is plenty happy hehehe ...

It's basically the default settings bro, but I've placed a fan curve on it. Image Sharpening + GPU scaling + Freesync turned on 👍

If I remember correctly, I think AMD introduced 'junction temperature' with RDNA1 and claimed that 110C was normal. Everyone seemed to panic at that time seeing over 100C. I'd still say if you're still good bro 😉

If its the reference card it's gonna stay there. That is fine. Aftermarket solved that issue. Still rocking my 5700xt and I bought that new for 400 usd when it came out.

I have a 5700G and I promise you that 5800x3d is the only reason you're getting 150 fps in WZ

Unfortunately, the 5700G is not a true Zen3 CPU.. its a gimped model, with smaller cache. If you swap out to a normal 5700X (or even a 5600), you should gains over what you're seeing on the 5700G (or 5700 non X - which is essentially the 5700G without the iGPU).

Yeah, I don't blame ya.. have had a lot of viewers asking me why their performance wasn't matching. That naming is definitely deceptive from AMD on both 5700G and 5700 non X .. If you can, sell that CPU and get them 5700X, 5700X3D or even 5600 👍

If AMD competes hard in the midrange next gen, then the RTX 5060 might stay in that price range.. if they don't, Nvidia might price it to squeeze more 💰 However, 5060 might be a year away though.. the 4060 is a good option if you are wanting power efficient cards, and some are down to $289 now - amzn.to/3xIqxMi 😉

I think Radeon has come a long way.. and it's actually decent for content creation (AV1, etc). Hopefully, RDNA4 will be a banger and we could get a decent midrange (as they are abandoning the high end next gen).

Dont compere rx 5700xt with rx 6600 because you graphics you have is trush its undervolte compere with real rx 5700xt oc and you will see huge difference 20 fps more then rx 6600 and temperature will be 65 xd

Get a motherboard with gen 4 pcie support, I suggest an am4 b550 motherboard. Check what size and ports you'll need. ATX or mATX are your most common. A Ryzen 5 5600x processor. 1tb nvme gen 4. And a 650w power supply no lower than tier C on the "PC cultists" power supply list. Don't cheap out on power supply! And of course, a case to put it all in that supports the motherboard size you chose in the beginning. Hope this helped.
