I'm playing on rx6600 with R3600 and 16 Gb ram on medium 1080p, with fsr set on quality + frame gen with 60fps lock, and get 60 fps like 99 % of the game, i got a few bugs so i just reload the save and move on. Just used to input lag, but it not CoD or CS2 so its ok. Game us pretty stable for me.

@@maxgurov2012 it's 60 fps with the FG. it's more like 30 fps but doubled (your input lag is the same if you were playing at 30 fps with no FG). I suppose if you are playing on controller it's somewhat bearable.

So the RX6600 is actually my 'work' PC, paired with a 5700G which because i'm not bothering anyone rather than my main rig i often end up gaming on, what i would suggest for S2 is while it does need some up-scaling, 1080 is never an option for this as there is just not enough base detail - i run it on Linux, which may be a factor, at medium settings at a resolution of 2048x1152 , TSR UltraQ , Res Scale 66% & i have fixed the frame rate at 40fps (in steam for linux users DXVK_FRAME_RATE=40 %command%) , this gives good image quality, balances the Vram and CPU demands to give a very playable experience in the same areas in town shown in the video

Weird, I got mine running smooth by doing the exact same thing and locking the game to 50 fps. Im using a 12900kf and a 3070 ti at the moment. No, for the next 3 to 4 years. I am not running out an buying a new card each time a dev releases a dumpster fire. This is insane but I think back to last of us launch for pc. game ran like shit and all these youtubers were making videos claiming that 8GB cards are now "Dead" I just think the game needs alot of goddamn attention and care at this point. Iron Galaxy fixed last of us eventually, lets hope the same happens in this case.

​I'll take lower settings (medium, maybe some low in there) if it means outputting at 4k, even with FSR performance upscaling. I find most games with TAA using integer scaling or RSR doesn't looks incredibly blurry. Maybe I'll force a 21:9 resolution (3840x1600) to pull back some performance and accept some black bars on my TV.

You wouldn't think, but the performance became even worse.. with other words, the game is more intensive than it was initially. And nope, this game could never do the same.. they can improve the performance by like 5%.. do you think that will save the cause?.. at graphics like this, the 6600 should have double of the framerates it currently gets.

I think its the nanite and lumen that makes the RX 6600 tank fps. Could you test the RTX 3050 8GB since it has raytracing cores and it might perform better or as good as the rx 6600 in this game.

I'm playing with a 3600x, 32GB RAM and an RX6600 Playing on medium/1440p/FSR perf with FG on I get around 80 for the most part, 60 in the real bad areas I found that apart from AMD anti-lag, turning ON vsync helped massively with the input delay, it's not perfect but it's way better than it was before trying vsync

I have the same card but with a R5 3600. Same ave fps but good gods.. its a stutter fest near towns esp. Rostok. I put my settings on high with textures, sky, global illumination at mid; draw distrance at epic. TSR quality 85 with FG, its stable at 80fps (drops at towns). AMD's anti-lag helps a bit with input delay.

9:45 That blinking looks a lot like PSSR issues on PS5 Pro, it's like the shadows are getting brighter and darker. I think it's heavily down to Lumen tbh, it's not really "shooting enough rays" so the lighting is unstable, and some temporal upscalers are good at stabilizing the brightness, other less so.

Yes, it feels like console, but only if you properly cap the FPS. You can do it by using Special K, disabling vsync in game, setting SwapChain to 2, and capping the FPS to exactly half the native frequency of your monitor. If you have any questions regarding the Special K injection, refer to the official site. Just a tip: use global injection.

Guys. Remember when Last of us 2 was first ported to PC? We had the same frame drops and access vram use. Give it time and the game will be smoother. Not saying we will get higher fps but more consistent. hopefully.

Can i suggest making a small section of the video to test it with some performance mods? They're quite easy to install/remove so you won't waste too much time on it. I use the first mod you'll get on Nexus page,and it makes a huge difference in being able to play it and it improves latency with FG. And the newer UE5 titles don't have the option to run games at native forcing you to always play with some upscaling method like Wukong, Marvel Rival (this game is so good but so shit in terms of performance as compared to OW2)! And now with new neural technology nvidia is introduced next month, they will get even more lazier since it's also some kind of upscaling method!

This game is so intensive yet has no dynamic flashlight shadows. Also your gun's muzzleflash doesn't light up the scene around you, and not casting shadows either. These are basic effect since the 2000's lmao, even most PS2 had these (like Silent Hill 2 in 2001!).

the thing that fixes fg input lag for me is setting fps lock in game(not rtss) to half of your desired fg framerate, if i had rx6600 i'd set fps lock to 40 and enjoyed 80 fps, BUT THE GAME DOESN'T LET YOU CHOOSE YOUR OWN FPS LOCK

Indeed, I was able to get almost acceptable input lag running the game with a 30fps cap, which shocked me. Without that cap, even when the base fps is higher (but still 60 or less) the lag is really really awful. So I could imagine a locked 40 would work well... If we could do it.

It does OK, I have a 6600XT with a Ryzen 5 5600, I run the game at 1080p with FSR NativeAA with mostly Medium preset but Texture Detail on High. I get 45-60 fps, with the lower fps naturally being in the town areas but tbh its most often around 50-55 fps. I do run the SPF graphics optimizer mod from NexusMods though. Not sure it added much fps but smoothed out the input latency, I think.

rx 6600 can run on epic settings. But you need to reduce some settings via Vram and this graphics card does a good job with stalker 2 ( custom settings, TSR quality 65 RS, fg, sharpness 25% ), with these settings you will get at least 70+ fps at 1080p if there are no CPU issues.

The reseaon tsr looked bad is because you lowerd resolution scale. when you set that to quality therefore you don't need to lower resolution scale down.

I've been playing on my 4070 super with dlss quality and FG at 4K epic and it gets like 75-80fps. Without FG it's 65fps-70fps. FG is useful if you have the VRAM for it, but so far this game will still randomly spike in certain areas

Does this Lumen implementation rely upon Screen Space, or is it earnest Ray Tracing? Satisfactory uses a screen space implementation of Lumen to achieve global illumination, and performance is generally good.

I don't know what's going on with every reviewer of this game, but me and my friends are plaything this game without a single issue. I have a 5700 XT and I'm getting 80-100 fps on medium 1080p no problem. No hitching, no stutters, no slowdown... Can't put the game down and feel like the game is so much more optimized than any other game I've played this year at release. Definitely runs better than Starfield (for me) even a year after release.

Tbh considering how difficult UE5 is to run, the Rx6600 is performing vg imo✊💪🥰👍. I feel we need the RTX 4090 to be rebranded as the RTX5060Ti / 5070 next generation to give the performance needed for 1080p UE5 gaming going forward 🤦🙈🤭😉

I play the game on high with the rx 6600 with 30 fps lock framegen the input lag seems fine to me

the 3070ti (8gb) is reccommended for 1440p high settings 60fps tested with DLSS ( steam specs page) but im not holding my breath lol. i have the 3070ti and have put off buying this game for now. please test the 8gb 3070ti if you have one.
