Yeah it was super helpful. I was thinking about either a 7700xt or a 7800xt. The 6900xt drew too much power and to see performanve in most titles is exactly the same with the 7800xt vs the 6900xt with less power draw, makes me confident my choice in the 7800xt was the right choice.

I recently ordered the 7800 XT, I wasnt upgrading from the previous AMD generation, but switching out my current gpu (which I sold) to partially finance this purchase. the 7800 XT in my region is out of all the GPUs in this vid, the cheapest option.

@@novell80 I got mine XFX Merc 6900xt running at 350watt in open case with 3 fans in front of case. I never had more then 65% of fan speed on my card with temps around 70\90(hot spot) in superposition. It is really silent.

@@Lumi-b4k The RX 6900 XT is a good GPU and will likely perform well for the next 4 years, but I’m not fully sure since newer games are becoming very GPU-demanding. In my opinion, this GPU should easily handle 2-3 years without any issues.

I have a gre and lowkey regret not going with 4070 super. FSR looks like shit and frame generation is literally the only good thing about this card. No one cares about its 4k capabilties and its not like any of the games i play even utilize 50% of its vram.

@@JohnDoe-rh7vh Really? the 7900 GRE is a hell of a card. I run a 7900 XTX and I exceed 16GB of VRAM on numerous games, although I'm playing at 4K max settings. FSR Quality (the only one I've used) looks amazing and their frame generation is amazing. I wouldn't trade a 7900 GRE for a 4070 Super, but they are both great cards.
