@@primesuspect4992 LMAO i used fsr and dlss just a hour back in gow ragnarok and its a huge difference. dlss looks like native there is 0 difference between native and dlss + in most games dlss does look better than native due to better anti aliasing

You want a pilot to drive a train? AMD cards don't have RT cores as efficient as the NVIDIA cards and path tracing is so demanding that some RTX cards can't even get 10 fps on it, and you expect it to be fair for AMD lol.

AMD absolutely CRUSHES Nvidia in raster performance (which is still the most widely used technology), parallax, and splatting. Why pay extra for a feature that isn't important? This is coming from someone who owns both a 7800 XT and a 4070 Super, currently contemplating selling my 4070 Super to buy a 7900 XT for the raw performance power.

I often preferred one without it. And I grew up in the 90s so I grew up with NES and PS1 graphics so I can most definitely live without Ray Tracing. 😅

Looking to build my first pc and am struggling with deciding if the ray tracing from Nvidia is truly worth it vs the value for fps that AMD offers. Any advice, anybody? For context, I've been playing a lot of single player games these past couple of years but always have games like Rocket League and COD in the rotation.

Nothing under a 4070ti super at 1440p is worth getting for ray tracing. 7800xt is fantastic for non ray tracing games for under 450.

Cod notoriously runs FAR better on amd gpus so if you mostly play cod at 1440p or lower go with an amd card. If you mostly play single player games like cyberpunk then that really depends. I also mostly play single player games like cyberpunk at 1440p and even heavily mod them like in the cases with skyrim and minecraft for example. If I was to chose between the 2 cards shown here I'd pick the 4070ti super because of the feature compatibility and dlss are far to good of features for me specifically. If you game on 1080p I'd honestly go with the 7900xt because you won't really need upscaling unless you care about raytracing but honestly it doesn't do much in many games other than tanking your fps and it only really is worth using in cyberpunk and alan wake 2 along with another few.

@@f.iph7291 That's only Nvidia Path Traced games. 7900xt runs every other RT game equal to a 4070 Super. Majority of People play Cod, csg, and other shooters. 7900xt puts up frames equal to a 4080 in FPS titles.
