Hey man, thanks for info on the Rx 7900 XT. Btw, did you notice any coil whine on the 7900 xt out of the box? I`ve been thinking of getting a 7900 xt from ASUS, but I have found quite some report of bad coil whine on the asus model.

I have only tested the MSI version in the video on the silent version vs the gaming version bios mode(there is a switch that lets you choose what you mode you want) honestly the performance difference is 1-2% but it is quiet as a library 😁

did you have to uninstall/install drivers or was it a plug and play deal

Whenever installing a new GPU, even when it's from AMD to AMD or NVIDIA to NVIDIA, I always uninstall drivers with DDU, it's good practice and you know you're getting a fresh install, you don't have to technically but it gives you peace of mind

The front shroud is made out of hard but sturdy plastic and the backplate is metal, it feels like a solid card to me but your mileage may vary, I am very pleased with the build quality 😁

@@EpicTechVR This is actually was one of my choice but i decided to get the reference version for $80 less and i believe they just reuse the same aib design from the 6900 series on this card which i think was pretty lazy as it was known to have pretty high hotspot temp, the reference version had actually better temp which i think was weird but how is the temp for you so far?

@@EpicTechVR i got it for about 2months already. Oced and unvervolted, doesn't go past 80c and way quieter than my 6800xt merc 319. Couldn't believe that a way smaller gpu is way more silent. I researched alot of the aib for 7900xt. i even returned two, one from sapphire and one from powecolor. I didnt like the build quality of bott and their low effort to optimize the cooler design. It's just like they kept recyling their cooler and frame just to fit the new gen cards. Just settled with the reference 7900xt, all metal except the fans.

Grabbed a MSI MECH 6750xt around the time this video came out and prices of cards have been dropping even more. Wish I had held out a little longer to do my build so I could have grabbed a 7900xt on one of the sales I have seen recently but that is ok (That would also have put me over budget by a few hundred dollars). The 6750xt should be good for about a year or so then I can grab a discounted 7900xtx when the 8000 cards come out, or if the prices are not total bonkers even an 8000 series card.

Honestly anything over the 6700 XT is great for gaming bro! I used to have to the 6700 XT as you see in this video and would still recommend it 100%!

In my country these new cards are very expensive, this one costs 2100😄. The best I can get are the 6900xt and RTX 390 used at 450

The 6900 XT is still great! The lowest I would go in 2023 is a card with 12gb VRam and the Rx 6700 XT seems to be the best price to performance card out currently, at least for prices here in the United States

All i worry about is : (1) do my power support have enough watt to support RX-7900XT TOO ??? and (2) the huge size of 7900 is able to fit in my case or not =.=V

It's amazing for 1440p and 4K gaming, I keep it on the silent mode and it's a beast of a card

Depending on the resolution and graphics settings you want, I tested the card at 1440P max settings

@@watterson777 honestly the card stays super cool under 70 degrees Celsius when other graphics cards I've had reach towards 80 degrees Celsius, and can barely hear the card I have

you can use it for 3 years and more , games graphic is almost to its limited XD , you may need to upgrade again but i believe the cycle may up to 5-6 years once XD
