Great video! Just picked up a 5speed gearbox (got it for 11.5k) and I’m going to convert my rx100 to 5speed. Will do the full 135 conversion after a while. Is there is huge difference in performance between the 4TL10 (5s) and the 4TL00? Is it worth the extra money?

It doesn’t work like that, a 5s carburettor n 4s engine will give slightly better mileage but if you put the 4s carb in 5s and don’t compensate for the extra fuel it will flutter. For increased fuel you have to increase air. This is just an example. 4s carb will work on a 5s without issues, unless you are high up in Himalayas

Engine knocking happens due to the mixture igniting before the full compression on the air fuel mixture, it can damage the piston, this is compensated by increasing the octane value of the fuel or introducing spacers in between cylinder and head, higher compression engines have their own uses.

Rx 100 has better pickup than 135, you can increase the pickup further by adding a 16 inch rear wheel. It will impact top speed. You cannot have both power and mileage.

@ ok Sir also I noticed in my rx100 the carburettor 4TL01 is installed …does this affect the pickup as well??..also I asked the mechanic how much it costs for engine restore he said it costs 8k and if bore work needs to do it gets added separately he told so for good pick ip shall I change the carburettor as well..what the things should I check for better pickup for rx100 with same rx100 exhaust sound? Also restore affects the rx100 exhaust sound??

Sir, I have a 1998 Maroon RX-Z. It is restored last year. It's fitted with Goezete cylinder kit, other than that everything is pretty stock. Sir my questions are :- 1. Is Goezete Cylinder kit capable enough, like the original cylinder. I mean will it make the same 12 BHP and 12.25 Nm like the stock. And sir will it be good for the bike if we modify the bike, basic one, will the cylinder be able to cope up with this. 2. Sir if I just change the gearbox and Sprockets to RX-Z 5 speed, will it give about 90-95% feel and performance of an original 5 speed.

No it won't, you'll have to upgrade the entire block and gears to get the feel, 5s has 14 Bhp, Block no is 4TL10, for 4s it is 4TL00, so in order to get the 5s feel get the original block and gears.

@@duke7571 gear box won't replace BHP, total power output of 5s is higher that 4s, since 4s has 4 gears the feeling of better initial is felt however dyno output would show that 5s is more powerful engine, to increase initial performance use a smaller type like the yesdi wheel, and tune as per initial pickup.
