Thanks! I’m very fortunate to live in a “Pro-Drone” community (where just about everybody owns one & is very helpful if it gets stuck on a roof or tree). I wish the rest of the world would be the same... Also, I’ve flown a lot of these aircraft and I know what to expect and have some experience with them… Lastly, most of the ones I fly around the neighborhood are usually toy or hobby grade, so they are small, light weight, & legal...

Got one for Christmas. Mine does not have the arm locks, instead it seems to click into and out-of position. Mine also required minor modification of the controller's battery compartment and it wasn't allowing contact with the AAA batteries. Other than that, identical to what you have. Lots of fun, seems pretty durable. Looking into buying more batteries and a bulk charger for longer fly times. Enjoyed the unboxing and demo.

Well this not a professional photography drone with a high-quality camera & gimbal (motorized stabilizer). To achieve very smooth, high-quality footage, you might have to spend a little more on a DJI Spark, Mavic, or Phantom or perhaps a Parrot Bebop 2 or Anafi to get a smooth, high-definition cinematic experience. The drone featured in this video is mainly an inexpensive toy drone for fun...

Well if your goal is to have stabilized HD footage, you would definitely need something with at least a 2 or 3 axis gimbal or some form of good EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization)... A few good ones that come to mind are the Parrot Bebop 2, DJI Spark, & Hubsan Zino... you can probably find these on sale or refurbished for anywhere around $250 - $400 USD...

Perhaps search online for keywords like: “3-axis gimbal GPS drone” and look for the best price & deal...you might be able to find a refurbished or used drone at a good price...usually 3-axis gimbal GPS drones provide good image stability/quality & are very easy to fly...

One thing I can say about the E58 is that it does take an SD card, which means that the video should not have any skipped frames… I would probably say the E58 for that reason (even though the footage from my E58 review did not look as good, that may have been due to the fact that I had the 0.3 mp version or simply did not set the 720p preview option on)...

The footage I shot on mine isn’t 720p, but 640 x 480. Have you found this to the case, and if not is there a way to adjust the camera settings?

Remember they sell two versions of this drone...one with a 2mp 720p camera & one with a 0.3mp 480p camera. It sounds like you got the latter... Also, check the options within the app to see if there is one for 720p preview (and that may stretch the image out to 720p)… I know some drone apps have that option…

@@rx344 Thanks. I've written a letter to the retailer about what I received versus what's on my receipt and I hope they can exchange the camera and give me the right version. As far as I can see there aren't any options for switching recording settings or preview modes, but I hope that might be the case. Thanks again.

This drone does not have a remote tilting camera, so it has to be manually tilted by hand prior to take off…

Try with another device to see if it works, if not, then there may be a defect with the unit you received & it may need to be returned/exchanged...

Thanks! :) I’m actually going to do a video soon comparing many of the Mavic clones that are out there… But right now, I can tell you that the Visuo is superior to this drone… The one thing I will say about this drone compared to the Visuo, is that it does match the Mavic’s appearance a bit more than the Visuo, but that’s it...The Visuo has better flight time (10 mins per battery), better handling, better lights for orientation/night flying, & overall better quality...I recommend getting the full Visuo package from GearBest (with 3 batteries & HD camera)... yeah I agree with that it has some handling issues, sometimes you can push full forward and it will stay in place and also the headless mode seemed not to work properly, and maybe that were some of the reasons why mine flown away yesterday.. I'm thinking of getting a visuo now

Been flying for a while now. Prior to take off the remote and drone flashes, then the light becomes solid and I am able to start the motors. Now my drone doesn't flash anymore but stays on a solid light. Are the drone and remote frequencies out? How do I fix it?

Thanks, but unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend mounting a GoPro on this (as its brushed motors aren’t powerful enough to perform any adequate flying with one on). That being said, it probably can support the lighter/slender FireFly Q6 or Onepaa X2000 FPV cameras that shoot in 1080p (and in 4k I think for the Q6)...

I think part of the problem for me is that I'm trying to learn how to use this while in the house and my phone keeps jumping back to the house wifi, but when it does connect I can't see how to actually get the rotors to spin? I link, I calibrated, then I want to fly and i just can't see how to do it.

Try pushing the auto take-off button or move both sticks down-and-out to start the rotors in idle (then provide altitude with the left throttle stick up)...

You may have it in headless-mode… In headless-mode, the controls will be relative to the direction the aircraft was facing where it took-off from… Try turning off and then turning on the drone again (to ensure you exit headless-mode)…

Once you connect to the drone’s WiFi, you simply launch the app and once in the app, you would either click the PVE or FLY options and that should immediately show you a live feed from the drone’s camera… Make sure nothing is covering or obstructing the camera lens and you should see a view from the camera. If not, you may have to restart the drone and if problems persist, you may have a faulty or damaged unit (that may need to be returned or exchanged)…

The right stick is also a button (flip), that once pressed, should start beeping and at that point you could move the right stick in the direction you want the quadcopter to flip or roll… This should do side rolls (either to the left or right)…

I bought one of those but it never flew. It turns on all the led lights, the camera also works and you can connect to it via WiFi but it does not turn on the propellers, it does not take off :-(

The most important part is that it flies. At 9:29 in the video, I go over the steps on preparing this quadcopter for flight. See if perhaps a step was missed. If not, then maybe you have a defective unit that needs to be returned or exchanged...

Turn on the drone & controller, bind, calibrate, then push the auto take-off button. Then use the throttle stick to provide altitude and the right stick to navigate in the direction you desire... :)
