Hi Patti. I can’t tell you how much I enjoy your KZbin videos. I think you’re absolutely adorable. I am going on 71 years old and although we are very different, we have very much in common. I was a model in the younger chapters of my life and have since been retired for the last two years. I just returned from a cruise on the Mediterranean where I married my high school sweetheart. We hadn’t seen each other for over 50 years. The cruises as you had mentioned was not full, but it was an incredible journey and created memories we will never forget. Please keep up the good work. You were making tons of women feel heard in relevant. Although I am going to be 71 I still ride a BMW motorcycle, ski every day, mountain climb, and entertain my grandchildren. I am 76, and I live in caftans when I’m around the house I put my make up on every day when I wake up even if I’m not going anywhere because if I don’t I just don’t feel like doing anything but getting myself together doing make up and hair gives me that boost that I need. I’m sitting here watching and as soon as I saw this blue dress from Target, I got on line and ordered it. The summer is here, and I have to say it is my least favorite season. I have some medical issues that make hot weather unbearable. I know when my daughter sees it, she’ll make some remark having to do with old ladies and mumuus🤣. But guess what! Congrats on discovering kaftans! I have them in every color and print, sleep in them, and rock them every day! I'll be 67 in July and have psoriatic arthritis, which makes wearing heavy, close-fitting clothing extremely uncomfortable for many reasons. They feel like I'm wearing nothing and make my living colorful and comfortable. Not to mention, they REALLY appeal to my hippie soul.

@@gigi1332 Thanks! I will check it out!I had been on Humira for over three years and it has become less effective, so my doc switched me to Skyrizi along with some hydrocortisone creams. My main issue has been with the psoriatic part of PA lately. I can't stand anything on my skin. Thankfully Celebrex is pretty effective with the arthritis half of this crap. I would not wish this on my worst enemy!

What a fun video! I am a caftan lady too. Yesterday we went to Costco, I really try to never leave the house without makeup and nicely styled hair, but just like everybody else my hubby of 56 years is impatient. He wanted to leave right then, so I grabbed my purse and ran. Half way thru the store some precious soul ran up behind me and exclaimed that I looked absolutely adorable in my solid raspberry little caftan like dress. Now, at the age of 74 I don't hear that often but it surely was fun to hear it. yesterday. That woman and her husband were so sweet and kind to me. Since I am notorious for surprising other ladies, I got to experience how good it feels.

I found you at a time when I was in a bad state of mind but with you coming into my life, little by little everything started looking up. My girlfriends and I are miles apart but talk on the phone very often. When I watch your videos I feel like you are right here with me having a little chat. Dear Pam, I also found Patti at a low point in my life. I was suffering with extreme pain because of a botched hip replacement surgery. I pray your pain will ease as mine has. I know you are very discouraged but try to do something every day that brings a smile to your face, if only for 5 minutes. Don't know if your pain is nerve pain but if it is, the drug Cymbalta could help. My sister has had great success with it for excruciating nerve pain.

@@Frandallina Thank you Fran for your thoughtfulness. Yes it is nerve pain. The surgeon damaged the nerve when he did my hip replacement. A neurologist prescribed gabapentin which helps. Unfortunately I now wear a brace for the “drop foot “. Is gabapentin the same drug under a different name?

You are so right about giving, Patti! All that matters is that you give with a good heart, your reward is in the joy of giving. If I might suggest for safety, a police department parking lot is a great place to meet up with people for transactions. I am retired law enforcement and we always encouraged this practice after Craigslist came into being. And lastly, I finally found the perfect black jumpsuit because of your video! I am so happy to have this in my wardrobe! You are the best!

Hi there, I’ve just found your channel and I love it and you. I’ve been a widow now for nearly 10 years. Then I found my brother who lived with us had passed away upstairs while watching tv. They were both a shock to my system and I lost all my hair in every part of my body. I have 2 amazing dogs that keep me going and my daughter comes often to see me but it’s so lonely at times so I started watching KZbin as I can’t afford cable tv or any of them. I started watching all the ghost ones as I was hoping that there was life after death. But then other videos kept coming up and yours was one of them. I immediately fell in love with your channel so I’m trying to catch up on them. It’s like seeing an old friend that I haven’t seen in years. I’ve just turned 67 and hate all the fine wrinkles I’m getting so watch a lot of items about what good for them. My husband and me used to be entertainers and did a lot for charity. Because we did that every night I never had time to make friends so this is good for me. I have worn makeup every day even if I’m not going out. So watching all the makeup tips is great too. I love your kaftans and I’m always wearing them as like you said they are so comfortable. I have so many of them as love to have a change. I even knit winter ones and they keep me lovely and warm. I'm 76 and totally relate to you! For yrs now I have appreciating the beautiful caftans from Especially Yours both online and their catalog. These caftans are lightweight microfiber, gorgeous prints, midi and long length. Never wear out and I machine wash and dry or hand wash. They roll up like smooth silk in your bag, or dresser. I like seeing them on Joy Mangano hangers lined up in my closet. Orders arrive fast. I have paid $14 for new faves! I'm shorter now so only wear midi. 5'3"

Patty, I recently donated at least 3/4’s of all of my clothes to goodwill! Boy did that make me feel good! I say if I haven’t worn it in a year it’s going to be donated! It’s freeing and it helps me everyday in choosing the things I want to wear because I only saved thing I love! Keep up what you are doing because so many people love your videos! Oh the caftan!! Years ago you did the caftan video and I got hooked. You got them at Ross for $9.99! I got in the car that day and bought 2… Then a week later 2 more… Then a month later 2 more😱🤪 I now have 7 which gives me an option for every day of the week…and I LOVE them… and think of you every time I wear one!! Thank you!!! (When my granddaughter sees me in one she calls them my party dresses!😂) I was just at Ross last week and they had some, but the prints were not any I wanted. Feeding my caftan addiction…. The struggle is real! Your clothes are things I like and you look so attractive. I get dressed every day, including hair and makeup.. even if I’m just hanging around the house alone all day, and the things you choose are my comfy options for all day ease. I always look forward to your videos… this ‘responding to comments’ type was fun and interesting. Thank you, Patti! Your style updates are appreciated!

You look so beautiful in the jumpsuits. And when you threw the white button down over it it took on a whole different feel. I love listening to you "ramble" because that's how one talks face to face. At least that's how my sister and I talk to each other. I love watching your videos whether they are thoughts that have been on your mind, decorating, crafts, clothes hauls, or garden projects. My sister and brother were annoyed that I talked too much. She was from Kentucky. She put her arm around me and said a southern girl knows how to walk into a room and talk to people. It is a gift.
