I saw this show a few years back- what a treat to see Ry Cooder from about ten feet away. I can't even express how disappointed I was when they announced he wasn't going to join the rest of the group post-concert for autographs and whatnot.

"Hold Whatcha Got! Interesting, because there is a somewhat racier song which Ry and David Lindley did that you can find on KZbin entitled " Hold That Snake!". the lyric went something like "you better hold that snake until I make it...." I'm guessing it was a song about the temptation to cheat while her significant other was away.

+Thomas Hardey I learned Old Home Place after hearing it at this show. I'll have to checkout that CD. Also Pan America Boogie, learn that one too! I love REK. If you are ever in Greenville, SC come out to the Albino Skunk Music Festival and we'll see you there. It's a great Bluegrass/Americana 3 day festival. Heading to Merlefest next week.
