Kath, I am a student doing yacht master and this is exactly what I was looking for! So good. I was wondering if anyone has a way of gauging the relationship between wave size and period in terms of safety. In Bass Strait our wave size wasn’t the worst we’d had (it was 4 ish m) but the short period made it very uncomfortable in our 37 ft sloop. Soon we head across Tasman Sea so if anyone has tips on this, I’d love it. Thank you again, Kath!
