My boyfriend was killed just 4 days ago, I’ve been grieving and mourning but it just keeps hurting more and more. We’re both native and I mention that because as a native sometimes it’s just a real struggle to find love, it’s already bad as is but when you’re on the reservation or somewhere that isn’t necessarily the best place for someone like you or like us let alone anyone it gets hard sometimes. He lived in the city and I live on the rez. We would plan out visits like crazy and before he passed he talked about getting a car and making visits to come see. We both loved each other, and I knew we both felt that, he would say it sometimes but we made a promise to wait to say because I just wanted it to feel special when the time came. We had known each other for a while then somewhere along the way it just started to get more and more serious and by the time I asked him to be my boyfriend we were already pretty much a couple at that point. I’ve never felt so connected to anyone as much as I have with him. I’ve never loved anyone like I loved him. I miss you Willis. I love you. Rest well my love.
