This DQ to me, goes right back to Talladega and Harvick. How are these cars getting through "Pre-Inspection" without finding these issues? Are the officials turning a blind eye in inspection and hinting to "Post Inspection" officials? Like seriously. Come on officials, pull your head out of your butts. Dang NASCAR.

Pre inspection is just taking measurements of car...ride height and using stencils to make sure all cars r the same....that's it...post race inspection is when they tear it apart and go thu everything....that's when these cheaters r busted...I've been watching Nascar for 40 years and learned all the processes involved

Pre race inspection from what I've seen is more about is the car going to "fit inside the lines" so to speak but in reality what is to stop the teams from altering the car once it passes pre-race inspection this is why post race is to catch things the way the car actually raced.

I have a problem with a car going 500 miles at over 150 mph and NASCAR expects everything to stay the same as far as tolerances. If there was a dip in track then NASCAR is responsible. If someone else bumped his left front wheel could that change things? I can see why all team owners are fed up with NASCAR officials. Sounds like some politics to me?

Hey Kenny, I heard you shout out one of your track wins, "Cleveland Tennessee". It broke my heart know that track is gone forever. It's now what looks like and apartment complex and nothing remains as to the history that was made on those few acres of Bradley County, Tennessee. Great little segment here and I just watched the update afterwards. I think NASCAR made a wise move. Busting a car owner and basically ending a championship run for a few thousandths of an inch is ridiculous. Especially since he is also the track owner of couple prestigious track they race at.

Why doesn’t NASACAR do their post race inspections PRE RACE so WE THE VIEWERS can watch a race where we can believe what we see instead of sitting for hours watching race only to find out later the result isn’t what we saw

Ok. So if NASCAR claims the apparatus they were using to check the shock was faulty then how come the teams shocks they did check after the race did not fail inspection also? I assume all teams would set theirs to the lowest height allowed at 22.55. So you’d think more would have shown out of whack. Unless that is Blaneys was the only one that got checked.

Kenny, Can you explain installed height? Correct me if I am wrong because I often am. When you crank the RR weight jacker the left front spring is going to compress more.

What I read @ 3:45 is LF shock minimum extended length, there is no mention of installed height (that would rely on spring rate and preload), ride height is more than the shock, it matters as much or more where the mount holes are on the frame/control arm and any travel stops on the frame.

Hey Wallace, you missed the story we’re bowman wrecks on lap 145, Larson gets “the save” on lap 142. Bowman states he s tight 10 times in his interview but dam near spins off 4 were every car in that spot is tight. Even Jeff Burton had to catch himself saying that’s convenient. Not buying it
