@eliteflite83955 жыл бұрын
10sBalls123 Imagine thinking margins of victories determine whether or not a race is good lol Indy was actually better because it got rid of the asinine easy to pass back and forth package and went back to what you saw at Gateway. Similar racing is going on at Indy just over the course of 500 miles rather than 300 at Gateway. Pit, fuel, and track positioning has come back to being ultra important as well as keeping it clean the first 3/4 of a race. While the road/street/ and oval races outside the 500 milers tend to be more of a sprint with more aggression early on they are still playing out in a similar manner, just in a shorter distance. IndyCar racing is built on the long game, something the old IRL pack racing package and the post Wheldon aero kits didn't allow to shine.

let me point some things out mostly involving the last lap lets go back to Haleys xfinity win at Daytona that was took away, he went below the double yellow line then came up to improve position, so did Blaney but no call was made on Blaneys side this time when they did it to Haley in the Xfinity series Thought 2 : The locking bumpers, thought they changed that a while back to where they could not do it anymore? Sure did not allow it in the other 3 plate tracks this year. Point 3, when the 37 car wrecked in the trioval, caution should of waved freezing the field when he made impact. the freeze would clearly shown Newman out in front of Blaney. However no caution was called not after 1 hit or 2. They finished under green even though the cars involved was in a danger spot involving heavy hits by both. Not only did NASCAR fail to enforce some rules today they showed the lack of knowledge they have with their rule book. However though. The great race, side by side, 2-4 wide action, wrecks, flips, entertainment and excitement with a wild finishing order hit all of NASCAR's wrong doings today and made this race. The best. Of the year.
