Floyd has always been against performance enhancing drugs. Remember he had it in his contracts that when he fought both fighters including himself had to take Olympic style drug testing up until the day of the fight. Many gave Mayweather pushback for this but now praise him for this.

Boxing gone beyond a farce now. This was the fight boxing pinned itself in April, despite all the madness going on around it. Im not even suprised anymore. This was one of the biggest fights the americans could watch primetime this year, and any casuals watching this now get rewarded with the knowledge that the guy who won against all the odds was a cheat. The saudi move may well be boxing cutting off its nose to spite its face. If the fighters are making bank there thats great, but between them and their promoters having that card now, they will price themselves out of fighting anywhere else. The US audiences wont be buying ppvs for mid afternoon shows. A sat night with a few mates or in a sports bar is where the PPV is made. Itll ultimately lead to less eyes on the sport, less interest and more and more people focusing on other fight sports that deliver more on their cards at a time that suits them (UFC, PFL, heck even BKB after the Mcgregor partnership) its little wonder why the likes of Jake Paul is fighting old men in stadium's now in a sanctioned fight. The corrupt sanctioning bodies are crying out for money and will do anything to keep the wolf from the door. The suspension means nothing as long as Ryan keeps making tiktok videos. Rather than being left an unsigned fighter after his suspension, every promoter will be throwing money at him to get him on one of their cards. The UK market will follow the US market not long after too with little to no big fights expected here for the long term, at saudis expense. The UFCs manchester show is gonna do great for MMA and to keep the sport overtaking Boxing.

Should be overturned to a DQ loss IMO. A no contest only encourages more cheating. It went the full distance and one guy cheated his ass off. It really looks like he didn't take any steps to cover his steroid/ped use at all. To piss hot for that many things? Uncle Chael would be proud. Looking back on the fight, knowing wot we kno now, by all metrics and odds he was supposed to lose that fight. It's not a fair sanctioned bout if one guys is roided to super human lvls, i dont see how its not criminal, unless its in their contract that they cant pursue legal action if their opponent cheats

All his drug tests came back clean up until the day before and after the fight. He’s clearly tried to just use it to burn the extra few pounds and it didn’t work but then he’s popped the drug test. However no way it’s given him an advantage haha
