I think that's what doomed Pete in his mid-to-late tenure. Not being ruthless. In the beginning, him and JS cut people left and right for not being the right fit. That got us a Super Bowl. After that, it felt that accountability just wasn't held to as high a standard as it had been in the beginning. :(

I think DK has been underutilized. He has enormous untapped potential, IF he can learn to behave himself throughout every game.

One thing...even under Carroll...we NEVER have that dominating team vision...with the exception of the Legion of Boom...if you can get a lead and are able to score points..."blowout style"...you NEVER take your foot off of the gas pedal on offense or defense...we ALWAYS got a lead...let it be 1 point or 10 points and then we relaxed our offense and defense...zone and "Prevent" defense dont work to keep opponents from scoring...Prevent only "prevents" you from winning...zone gives them places to throw underneath and keep making gains...(maybe garbage, but still important yards) to possibly close the gap on score...if Man coverage is providing a shutout...STAY WITH IT TILL THE END! If you have scored 30 points, try to score 40...yes you can win with 30 points most games but very rarely do you lose a game scoring 40...keep the pedal to the metal...NO MORE DK Metcalf taking plays off...if he's one of the fastest WR in the league, then he should be trying to run around defenders NOT running into them and then throwing a fit and getting an USL Penalty and losing 15 yards AFTER gaining 30 and possibly scoring a TD instead of having to settle for a FG. If there was a player that hurt Seattle more than helped it was DK...I'd rather play Jake Bobo and some others. Keep Geno...develop a young guy behind him...Go Hawks!

If we had the same team in the first half of the season with Jones and Knight, we would have had a better record. We lost 2 games in the second half. In the first half the only team that PROBABLY beats us is Buffalo, and that's a big maybe. I predicted 14-3 before the season started. If Jones and Knight would have started in the first half 14-3 was very very doable.

You can replace DKs production in the draft or free agency for much cheaper then keeping him. I vote also trade K9, if you can get decent value for a player that can’t play half a season it’s worth it. Availability > ability

Grubb never truly wanted to be here. He wanted to be in Tuscaloosa with DeBoer and it showed in his play calling. He never adapted to the NFL...so McDonald just granted his wish to go back to college in my opinion..
