Yes in the first 3 rounds, but needs and depth need filled, and after 3-4 rounds, many prospects are similar grades so fill depth as needed, but yes, do not draft a guard in first unless they believe it will be an immediate starter, we need speed TE, WR, speed edge, NT, maybe another CB, S…not just Oline…sign 1-2 quality free agent guards filir certain

Corbin thinks he’s such an expert. Falls in love with players instead of a fairly non biased evaluation. If Geno doesn’t come back, Corbin may have a mental breakdown.

Disagree. Corbin is VERY objective. When it comes to Geno he’s been adamant that he appreciates his talent but is open to another idea IF there was a better option. There isn’t an obvious one right now. That’s been his stance for quite a while now. I suspect he’d be just as excited as any of us if somehow JS finds a way to acquire the next long-term franchise QB for the Hawks.

This talking point of Trey Smith Trey Smith Trey Smith kind of irks me. Not that I don't want him but there are 32 teams in the nfl. You know who has a terrible o-line and cut their starting guard mid season and is starting Jake Curhan? Bears...bears have a rookie qb contract and have 80 mill in cap space right now. Even if we wanted Trey Smith, even if he was our #1 target the probability of us being able to sign him is low like 5%. There are 31 other teams in the nfl who many of them have much better cap situations then us even after we cut players and free up cap.

Been saying this for awhile, Seattle doesn’t NEED to spend superstar money to create a good OL. There are other options besides Smith. Some of the most solid OL in the league are guys the average fan couldn’t even name.

Dan, What is wrong with Corban Smith? His outburst about Sam Howell's performance in the Green Bay was totally uncalled for!! I may be wrong but was the late entry into the game by Sam the only time he got to play all year? I do believe he led the team on down the field for a touchdown after Geno got hurt. The only touch down Seattle scored in the game! Cudo's to Sam for that drive! Corban Smith is totally wrong about Sam Howell!. Did Geno light it up in the same game? Hell no is the answer! Green Bay whipped Geno's butt all game and Corban expected Sam to come in and save him? Sam could have stood on his head for the whole game and would have put more points on the board than Geno did. Geno has over ten years of experience in the league and still damn near threw the same amount of interceptions that Sam threw in his one year with Washington. He played behind a worse line than Seattle had this year and got thrown to the wolves by another OC that was so bad he could not find another job in the NFL this year. I hope Sam gets a fair chance to play for a team with a good defense and behind a decent O-line. I would love to tell Corban ( six inches from his face ) just how wrong he is so I would not have to constrain myself as I am NOW. Tell Corban he doesn't have to worry, I am almost 80 yrs. old and have survived two heart attacks so physicality would not be an issue. Wonder why I misspelled Corban's name? Because he is not worth spelling it right!! How does it feel Corban? Shame on you! POMO
