Please Ryan, do a how to video on how you do your set up mount for the hero8 on your Buggy. Both electric and nitro are sick!
@topgunns10004 жыл бұрын
Hi Ryan! How did you get your rear to step out so easy and the front to hook up so well? I'm pretty sure my car would be pushing everywhere. And are you doing anything special with your driving?
@RyanLutz4 жыл бұрын
topgunns1000 nothing special setup wise. But driving I manipulate the brakes and throttle to pitch the car and control the drift. For instance the middle straight before the 180 I’ll tap the brake fully as I crank the steering and immediately get on throttle again with steering still turned. I can thus get the rear end broken loose and control the slide with throttle and steering inputs.
@JeffEmbracedDC3 жыл бұрын
Can you explain what happened at 1:46? Were you whipping on purpose or was that too much throttle going up the face making it launch unsettled? Watching at 0.25 speed to understand. Either way, unreal. So sick!
@RyanLutz3 жыл бұрын
I began turning left up the face just slightly which upon takeoff I added a bit more left turn which dips the car to the right.

Driven like a boss, surgical precision & awesome drifting...but... it just isn't the same without the BRAAAP! When I grow up I'd love to be 1/2 as good as you (I'm 43 :D ). Always look forward to your onboard vids it just electric has no soul!!!!

Amazing! What setup is recommended for lack of grip? :)?
@RyanLutz4 жыл бұрын
Kamil Wojciulewicz are you driving an Agama A319e? If not I can just give some basics. Tires are of course very important.
@kamilwojciulewicz85924 жыл бұрын
@@RyanLutz hi, I have a215e with sv updates.
@RyanLutz4 жыл бұрын
Kamil Wojciulewicz so generally you can go down a bit on diffs. I was running 10-7-5 but can do 7-5-3 if need more steering. Can also raise camber links especially front on tower to get more steering. Less rear antisquat can help transfer a bit more weight to rear for grip.
@JMOSORT4 жыл бұрын
Forgive my ignorance but do you look at the track while racing or the go pro?

No worries. We race from the drivers stand approximately 20 ft above the ground overlooking the track.

That drift is so satisfying... Really want to do that... Can u make a video how u do that... And myb other technical video
@RyanLutz4 жыл бұрын
It’s really just tap the brake with a quick steering input to break the rear loose then control the slide with throttle and steering inputs. Has to be lower grip to do it.

GoPro footage. FPV cameras don’t have the stability necessary for off-road yet.

What kind of car is that and what mods are done too it? Roughly what’s it cost to buy it?
@RyanLutz3 жыл бұрын
Most all the race 1/8th platforms on the market today you don’t need to do many mods to it. You can be ready to race for around $1,000 for a race quality vehicle. My equipment as videoed is about $2,000 which includes the higher end radio and servo.

Come attacchi la gopro alla macchina?
@RyanLutz3 жыл бұрын
